Beta LUA AI Update for HoI 3 (Latest Version)
Ok LUA modders
(If you are not a LUA moder please DO NOT respond to this thread, I don't want to hear about it would be cool if the AI did this etc... this thread is not about hypothetical stuff. It is about what the AI can do with the existing LUA commands)
This thread is designed to gather information on the latest LUA files so that modifications can be made for the next official HoI 3 (latest versions) patch. This is NOT a mod, this thread is for the official game.

- This is the list of changes since the 3.05 patch for FTM
Patch NOTES
- Fixed a bug in the Allow Debt code which was causing diplomacy points to bleed
- Fixed a bug where the AI would go into a loop accepting and canceling military access
- Minors will not build Rocket test sites till after 1943
- USA will build some airfields on some specific islands in the Pacific
- AI will only improve provinces that have atleast size 2 infrastructure
- Soviets will build Garrison units in the early years then stop
- USA will build lots of garrison units in the early years
- Japan will no longer build garrison divisions with an attachment
- Reworked how the AI does buildings
- AI should take MP into account now when building units (no longer allowed to overflow MP)
- AI should put in CAGs now as soon as it plops a carrier in the que
- AI will no longer liberate countries while still at war
- Italy will focus more on Nav bombers and the appropriate techs
- Italy will no longer build CAS
- Italy will build light armor
- Italy will no longer research medium armor
- Increase German naval production slightly
- Mechanized Infantry was added as a prefer tech to USA, Soviets, UK and Germany
- UK had marines removed from his ignore list
- Modified Land Doctrines preferences for most major powers
- Added paratrooper_infantry tech to France ignore list
- Added basic_four_engine_airframe to France ignore list
- Added four_engine_airframe to Soviet, Italy ignore list
- Germany should ask Sweden for access now
- Fixed a major influence bug that was causing the AI to waste diplomacy points
- Raised leadership influence cap from 22 to 25
- Non-Faction Members and Minors have a Diplimacy cap of 0.5
- Faction Member, Major Powers have a Diplomacy cap of 4.5
- Lowered default Diplomacy amount from 15% to 8%
- Improved communications between Leadership bars and Foreign Minister file on how to handle influencing.
- Foreign Minister file now has a main object that is passed.
- USA should focus more on naval building
- USA has an emergency build weight if land amount is to low when compared to naval
- AI should cancel influences if it can not afford them now
- Created a new cap system for Diplomacy should help countries research more and put less into diplomacy
- South Africa, Canada, and New Zealand will start shifting toward the allies if the allied leader goes to war and they are friends
- Did some changes to convoy build algorythm
- AI will now research militia techs enough to make infantry
- Some tweeks to the USA embargo on Japan code
- Fixed a bug in the Embargo code where the AI would cancel then Embargo over and over again
- Fixed a bug when checking embargo score it would not call the country specific file
- Germany will no longer create Croatia (AI reasons so Germany will defend the Baklans)
- Added oil refining and coal to oil techs to Soviet ignore list
- Cleaned up warlord files and removed naval stuff
- Germany, France, Italy and Russia should no longer research Carrier Doctrine techs
- Default Mixed file removed light cruiser building
- Default Mixed file added heavy cruiser building
- Default Mixed file added missing Carrier Doctrines to ingore list
- Fixed a potential issue that would cause the AI not to build land units
- Fixed a bug where the trade AI would sell you supplies then cancel the trade a few days later
- AI will pick a supply minister if short on resources (to help sell more supplies)
- Lowered the amount spent on spies from 8% to 3% of leadership
- Added Light Armor formation to the AI build types for Combined Arms bonus
- Soviets should no longer embargo Japan when they are atwar with Germany
- Japan should no longer embargo the Soviets
- Germany and Japan should no longer trade with eachother if Germany is atwar with the UK
- Japan will build more carriers
- UK will build light cruisers
- UK will build less carriers but more escort carriers
- USA IC allocation has been shifted more toward naval and air (700+ IC eats through MP to fast)
- USA will build allot more special forces unit (marines etc...)
- USA land builds changed to build more armor, mech, garrison and motorize infantry.
- USA will build more carriers and less escort carriers
- Fixed an issue with Soviets not building units after 1942
- Finland should mobilize if Germany and Russia go to war
- Counties will now mobilize if their faction leader is atwar
- Holland should not embargo Japan unless the USA does so first
- UK should not embargo Japan unless the USA does so first
- Japan, USA, UK and Italy will build more transports
- Paratrooper tech added to Germany prefer list
- Germany will no longer build Special Force units till it researches Paratroopers
- Cleaned out some old paramters from some major power files (not used)
- Japan will mix Engineers and Artillery in their infantry divisions
- Finland should join the war with Germany against Russia about 1 month after it starts (Continuation War)
- Added a special build Heavy Armor design division code
- Russia and Germany will no longer research Super Heavy Tanks
- Production AI re-written
- Several major powers had Mass Assault removed from their ignore list
- All major powers had Mass Assault added to their prefer list
- France/UK will never build a Rocket Test site
- Soviets will not build a rocket test site till 1943 and only if they still have Moscow
- Japan had a few more adjustments to build more infantry
- JAP will produce more land units in the early years
- SIK will guarantee China if not at war
- CYN will guarantee China if their neutrality goes low enough
- Guangxi Clique will help China if Shanxi surrenders
- SOV modified where he builds some forts and fixed a bug with them putting ot much IC into construction instead of units.
- AI fixed some LUA errors in the USA, Brazil and Mexico lua file that were not seen till the mid to end game.
- AI will build mechanized divisions 3 mech, 1 tank destroyer (combined arms)
- AI will build armor divisions 2 armor, 1 motor, 1 support
- AI will build motorized divisions differently 2 motor (or 3), 1 tank destroyer (combined arms)
- Created a TechnologyData similiar to the ProductionData object
- Fixed a minor bug where the AI had Carriers and Escort Carriers ratios fliped for building
- Created two default country files and started farming global variables into them to make it easier to manipulate.
- Small fix that would cause Germany not to DOW Norway.
- AI should not research Advaced Constructure if it becomes available right away
- AI will strive to research the pre-reqs for Advanced Construction
- Germany/Italy will no longer research Light Cruiser techs.
- Germany/Italy will no longer build Light Cruiser but instead will build Heavy Cruisers in their place.
- UK should now DOW on an enemies puppets if they are atwar.
- Soviets will build more land units if Germany is human controlled (Single player only)
- Soviets will build nothing but land units first few months of the war.
- Modified Default Land Doctrine ignore and prefer techs a bit.
- Fixed a bug where if tech level was already higher than the ignore level it would still research it.
- Fixed a bug where Sweden was not giving Germany Access when Finland was involved.
- Mexico and Brazil will shift toward the allies under certain conditions
- Mexico and Brazil will not join the allies till the USA is involved
- USA will start aligning itself with the UK if they are friendly and UK is at war with Germany
- USA is friendly to the UK it will embargo UKs enemies
- USA will have a higher trade ratio with Allies if friendly with UK and a negative with Axis if they are atwar with the Allies
- Fixed a minor issue with Minors tech research.
- Fixed a bug where Germany would research one of the cavalry techs.
- Limited Underground building to countries they are at war with (resolves a circular build bug issues).
- When deciding if to build more industry or not AI will take into account oil
- AI will now expand existing air bases
- AI will now expand existing naval bases
- Radar station building is a little random on location now
- AI may build a fort on its capital if nothing else to do
- Coastal Fort building is a little random on location now
- AI will now go for Industry building tech if it does not have it.
- AI will now go for Naval Base tech if it does not have it and it has a port.
- AI will now go for Air Base tech if it does not have it.
- Poland should mobilize if the Czechs are taken out by Germany
Special Notes
- UK, Japan and USA should be very up to date now with the naval techs with this build. Playing as Japan should be harder now to destroy their fleets.

lua_ai_ref.rar : This archived file contains a list of methods that can be called within the LUA and has nothing to do with game play at all. It is only provided for modders.

첫댓글 이걸로 개량된 패치가 패러독스사 정식 패치에 들어가는거라... 자체적으로 AI 최적화할 능력이 없어서 유저한테 도움 받는 제작사라니...
결과가 좋으면 좋긴한데, 찝찝하네요;;;;
10022011_script.rar 은 AI패치파일이고 lua_ai_ref.rar 은 모더(modders?)들에게 필요한 파일인거 같네요.
써보신분들 어떤가욤?;
