코비 42점 고맙삼. 젠마스터 라이벌 갈색할배와 닉스에게 승리를 거뒀삼.



For now, Phil Jackson and Larry Brown are only as good as the youngsters who play for them.

옛날엔 안그랬는데 필할배나 갈색할배나 모두 젊은 플레이어들 위주로 경기를 할 수 밖에 없지


Two of the NBA's greatest coaches are overseeing rebuilding jobs, making for some nights that try their competitive souls.

리그에서 손꼽히는 명장 두사람이 모두 리빌딩을 하구 있자나. 그 핏덩이들의 마음에 열정과 경쟁심을 불러일으키려고 조낸 노력하지.


Jackson maintained the upper hand on Brown when Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 42 points and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New York Knicks 97-92 Wednesday night, snapping a three-game losing skid.

코비가 42점 넣어줘서 필할배가 갈색할배를 지긋이 눌러줬고, 97-92의 호수인 승리로 3연패를 끈내버렸지..


"I went after it a little bit more aggressively and the team did a good job looking for me," Bryant said. "I felt we had to get something going in the third quarter."

코비왈, 좀 더 공격적으로 나가야했다구 생각했구, 동료들이 나에게 패스를 잘 해줬어. 3쿼터에 우리가 뭔가 해야겠다구 생각했지.


Channing Frye led the Knicks with 21 points, the second time the rookie has done so in three nights. Eddy Curry added 17 points.

저쪽 신인 후라이가 21점을, 카레가 17점을.. ㅡ.ㅡ


"Every game there is something that goes a little wrong," Frye said. "Right now we are taking our bumps and bruises, but we will get there soon."

Stephon Marbury was held to a season-low four points -- 12 below his average, and had 10 assists. He had 45 points last season against the Lakers.

시즌 최저인 12점에 10도움을 한 별배리. 작년 호수인과의 경기에선 45점을 넣은 적도 있었자나?


"I have changed a lot of my game," he said. "Forty-five points is so far away. My game is different now."

별배리왈, 내 겜 스딸을 마이 바꿔가고 있어. 45점 넣는 그런 경기는 이제 그만~ 난 이제 달라지고 있삼.


The latest meeting between Jackson and Brown was hardly vintage. Both of their clubs are struggling to regain elite status, something that once was a given.

최근의 필할배와 갈색할배의 만남은 최적기는 아닌 것 같지. 두 팀다 과거의 영화를 되살려 엘리트팀으로의 지위에 오르기 위해 조~낸 노력중이니깐.


"You saw the apparent schizophrenia of these teams," Jackson said. "They play great for a while and then they have trouble operating. What you see is young teams learning to play a consistent game. No quality in the direction of their discipline."

필할배왈, 이 두팀의 명백한 정신분열증적(schizophrenia) 행각 봤지? 어쩔땐 조낸 죽이다가, 어쩔땐 조낸 삽을 푼다. 지속적으로 조낸 잘하는 팀이 되도록 배워야 하는데 말야. 그들을 훈련시키는 방향의 우수성을 찾기 힘들지.. ( No quality in the direction of their discipline 인데...솔직히 해석 못하겠삼..ㅡ.ㅡ)


Jackson improved to 26-13 in head-to-head games against Brown, whose Philadelphia team lost to Jackson's Lakers in the 2001 NBA Finals. Brown's Detroit Pistons topped the Lakers in the 2004 Finals.

갈색할배와의 맞대결에서 26승 13패를 기록한 필할배. 갈색할배는 76인들을 이끌구 2001년 파이널에서 호수인에게 맞짱떴다가 당했다가 2004년 파이널에서는 나쁜녀석들 두번째 시리즈를 가지고 뭉게버렸지.


"I admire and respect him, but I have that feeling for anybody that sits down at that end," Brown said. "But you realize what he's done and that's pretty special."

갈색할배왈, 필할배 조낸 존경하삼. 그런 감정을 누구에게나 다 갖고 있지. 허나 필할배가 이룬 업적들. 조낸 대단한거지.


The Knicks made a pitch to Jackson for their coaching vacancy last summer before he decided on a second stint with Bryant and a cast of lesser knowns. Jackson played on the Knicks' 1973 NBA championship team.

그러고보니 닉스는 필할배에게 작년 여름에 감독자리를 제안했었지. 허나 필할배는 코비랑 다시 한번 짝짜꿍했어. 필할배는 73년도에 닉스의 우승멤버였다네.


So Brown took the New York job, and got off to an 0-5 start before the Knicks won at Sacramento and Utah.

그래서 갈색할배가 뉴욕을 맡았는데. 5연패나 당하고...물론 그후에 2연승을 거뒀지만 말야..


That modest streak came to a halt against the Lakers, who are still finding their way with Bryant as the sole team leader.

호수인들 전반엔 조용조용 하다가 3쿼터에 붐! 했지. 팀에 견고한 리더인 코비와 함께 광명의 길로 들어선거지.


He proved a one-man show yet again, the third time this season he's topped 37 points. He took a whopping 36 shots, hitting 15, and making 12-of-14 free throws.

코비의 원맨쇼가 또 되어버렸어. 37점 이상이나 넣어버린 세번째 경기가 된거지. 36번이나 쏴서 15개넣고, 자유투는 14개중 2개만 놓쳤지.


"It has to be a balance for us," Chris Mihm said. "Kobe is a special player, but there is no way that he can shoulder the load himself. We played well together in spurts, but Kobe really was the man."

(요즘 괜찮게 활약하고 있어서 이뿐!!^^) 밈군왈, 좀 균형을 맞출 필요가 있긴해. 코비가 스페셜한 분이긴 하지만, 그분 혼자 모든 짐을 짊어가게 할순 없자나... 함께 노력해서 전력을 다해야지. 하지만 그가 에이스인건 틀림없어..


The Knicks cut their deficit to 92-84 with 1:41 remaining on baskets by Frye and David Lee and a free throw by Nate Robinson, while the Lakers missed on two straight possessions.

후라이와 데이빗 리의 득점, 글구 네이트 롸빈슨의 자유투로 종료 1분 41초전 92-84까지 쫓아왔지


Lamar Odom's three-point play was the Lakers' first score in about two minutes and kept them ahead 95-84.

옥돔이가 3점 플레이를 펼치며 95-84로 도망가면서 GG 때리게끔 했어.


Ahead by six to start the fourth, Bryant scored the Lakers' first eight points, extending their lead to 86-72.

6점을 앞선채 시작한 4쿼터. 울팀 에이스가 8점을 내리 꽂아버리며 86-72로 리드를 했지


The Lakers had no answer for Curry inside, especially after Mihm picked up his fourth foul at the end of the third. Curry scored consecutive baskets to cut the Lakers' lead to 10 with 6:51 remaining.

근데 카레한테는 왜이리 뻥뻥 뚤리는데? 밈군이 3쿼터 종료직전 4반칙 됨담엔 더 그러더라구... 카레가 계속 골밑을 휘젓구 다니면서 리드를 줄일려구 애썼지.


The Knicks opened the second quarter with a 19-11 run to take a 45-38 lead, their first since the start of the game, bringing an applauding Spike Lee to his feet. Frye had 11 points.

2쿼터 시작후 닉스애덜이 19-11로 달리더라구...그래서 45-38로 한때 리드를 하기두 했었지. 스파이크 리가 박수치며 열라 좋아하드라구..


But the Lakers kept Lee glued to his seat by outscoring New York 22-4 over the end of the second and start of the third to regain a 60-49 lead. Mihm and Bryant had six points each.

허나 호수인들이 바로 22-4로 달리면서 '스파이크 아자씨 엉덩이 붙이고 앉기나 하삼!' 해버렸지.

For the seventh time in eight games, the Knicks' bench outscored the opposition. This time, their reserves had a 53-11 edge.

닉스벤치... 총 8경기서 7경기씩이나 상대편 벤치스코어를 압도했지. 오늘 경기는 53-11 이었다우~ (호수인들은 벤치로 먹구 사는팀 절대 아님! ㅡ.ㅡ)


Lakers F Slava Medvedenko has a herniated disc that will keep him out about six weeks.

슬라바가 탈장(herniated) 디스크로 6주간 결장이래. (나오나 안나오나 별 차이가 없다는...ㅡ.ㅡ)


The game brought out serious sports fans Chris Rock, Jack Nicholson and Denzel Washington, who plopped a Lakers hat over Lee's Yankees cap, provoking cheers from the crowd and laughs from Lee.

스타들이 이 겜보러 마이 와써... Chris Rock 하구, Denzel Washington 하구 원래 오는 Jack Nicholson 하구. 원정경기도 따라다니는 스파이크 리는 양키스 모자를 썼는데 셋이 리를 조낸 갈구더라구~ '여긴 왜 왔삼?' 하며...ㅡ.ㅡ

이넘 아직 득점이 없네요.. ㅡ.ㅡ

근데 한편 대단한 건 6경기 나와서 평균 4.5분 뛰었는데. 평균 블락이 겜당 1개입니다.

48분으로 환산하면 10.67개나 나오네요...

이넘 경기장 들어설때마다 눈에 불을 키고 찍을려고 이리저리 뛰어다니는구나... ^^

바이넘이 잘 커주기를...콰미는 도데체가 언제쯤 정신차릴런지...이기긴 했지만, 골밑은 제대로 관광당했다는...그래도 홈5연전이니, 첫단추 그런대로 끼워맞춘 만큼, 4승1패 해주길...
