2 Timothy 4 describes those who accept the truth and those who are against it. Similar to Romans 1, it distinguishes between those who accept and believe in the gospel of Christ and those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.
The Apostle Paul, possessing the Spirit of truth, became an apostle to the Gentiles.
He exhorts them to always hold fast to his teachings and proclaims that there is no other gospel.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but God has transferred us into Christ Jesus through the death and being raised of Jesus, the Word who came in the flesh.
Christ died for our sins and rose again for our righteousness.
And he has sent the Spirit of truth into us.
By the Holy Spirit who lives in us, we know that Christ the Son of God lives in us. This is the new covenant. The Lord Christ is in me, and I in Christ. In Christ, we are a new creation. We receive righteousness by faith in Christ.
Christ is our righteousness, holiness, goodness, and redemption in us. So, with the same faith as Abraham and David, we are justified, have peace with God, see his glory, and rejoice in God.
That is, those who are born again see the glory of God's kingdom and enter it.
God has called us into heaven.
Every breath, we must enter God's kingdom and rejoice in His glory.
The Bible tells us to abide in the Father and the Son.
In this way, we must have the faith of Christ through the Spirit of truth within us, and possess God's righteousness.
God judges with truth in the present.
To those who have the Son, he gives eternal life, and to those who follow Him, the Lord always gives his spirit and life.
But to those who reject the Son, his wrath remains. This is a present judgment.
Ultimately, at the last trumpet, the Lord will come and judge the living and the dead.
The living will be with the Lord forever and ever, and the dead will be cast into the lake of fire.
In Matthew 7, many who have served the Lord grumble in the lake of fire, saying, "I have done so much for the Lord." But God says he doesn't know them.
We must look at this incident carefully.
Even if we believe in Jesus and perform healings, raise the dead, give alms, and pray, we are only a large crowd.
The Holy Spirit movement spreading throughout the world today is the Holy Spirit working outside.
No matter how great the miracles and almsgiving, we are not righteous. We are not righteous simply by practicing social justice. We are not righteous simply by doing good deeds.
Only through the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit of truth, Christ abides in us, and we must have faith in Christ to obtain God's righteousness. we have to have perfect faith.
In Matthew 4, Jesus told the great crowds that the kingdom of heaven was near to those who followed him, who healed the sick, raised the dead, and performed the miracle of feeding the five thousand. But in Matthew 5, His disciples went up to the mountain to hear the word of God, and the kingdom of God became theirs.
The great crowds claim to be servants of the Lord, but they have nothing to do with God's appearing and the kingdom of God. We must test our own faith.
Is Christ, the Son of God, in you?
Do you see the life of the Son in you?
Are you alive?
The Bible says,
"Be dead to sin and alive to God."
"Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we become one body with Christ.
He becomes our husband and becomes the fountain of living water within us.
He fills my thirsty soul with living water.
That is why we can worship God the Father.
God seeks worshipers.
We can worship God in spirit and truth.
The Bible says that the Spirit of truth dwells within you, but there are those who accept it and those who resist.
Those who oppose the truth will be destroyed. No matter how magnificent or wealthy they may appear on the outside, their end is the lake of fire. Look at Psalm 73:17:
"Until I entered the sanctuary of God, then I understood their fate."
Only when I see the glory of God do I realize the vanity of the wealth and glory of the wicked.
Just as Paul boasted only in the cross of Christ, so too did he boast in Christ's death and resurrection, ascending to heaven and sitting at the right hand of God, sending the Spirit of truth into us, so that by believing we may receive eternal life, righteousness, peace with God, and see the glory of the Lord.
This is worshipping God in spirit and truth.
Gathering in a church building is not worship. It can be a synagogue.
We must examine our faith.
