He just suddenly quit and went back home. Greg left alone and had to continue the work by himself, at first it was difficult for him to manage the machine but later on he already used to it.
and there was a dog poo so he didn't clean that area and his farther had to clean it more
When he started mowing he noticed that there were piles of dog poop everywhere so he didn’t clean that area. Whenever he saw anything that looked suspicious or dog poop, he would just mow a ten-foot circle around it. After mowing, he went to the front door to get his payment but Mrs. Canfield refused to pay because Greg’s service was “lousy” and didn’t mow all the lawn. Greg tried to explain about the dog poop but nothing happened so he just went home and by the time he got there he told everything to his dad. His dad drove right over to Mrs. Canfield’s house with him and cut the rest of the grass. When Greg’s dad was done, he didn’t even ask Mrs. Canfield for any payment. Greg thought that his trip with his dad was just a total waste because he was expecting that his dad would confront her for not paying him. Before they left Greg planted a sign about his lawn service in Mrs. Canfield’s front yard since she didn’t pay he could also get some free advertisement. But after a couple of days nothing happened so he was thinking to give up and closing his business. And then, he just realized that with a few tweaks of their flyer they could start their service again in winter. He tried to call Rowley so that they could start brainstorming new ideas and on how to find some money to buy the new materials they need. But Rowley went out with his dad so Greg was a little annoyed because he never bothered about what they owed.
