Be Saved after Repented & Obedient According to Warning Word from God

성경말씀: 예레미야 38장

Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 38

하나님께서 “나는 그들의 행위와 그들의 손이 행한 대로 갚으리라(25:14)” 하셨듯, 각 사람이 자유의지로 선택하고 시행한 죄를 따라 공의로 심판하면서도. “그들의 행한 대로 갚기는 하셨으나 그들을 용서하신 하나님이시니이다(시99:8)” 증거하듯, 은혜와 사랑을 베푸는 하나님께서 죄에 빠진 유다를 심판하여 고난으로 연단하며 바로잡으시려고, “맛단의 아들 스바댜와 바스훌의 아들 그다랴와 셀레먀의 아들 유갈과 말기야의 아들 바스훌이 예레미야가 모든 백성에게 이르는 말을 들은즉, 여호와께서 말씀하시되 이성에 머무는 자는 칼과 기근과 전염병에 죽으리라 그러나 갈대아인에게 항복하는 자는 노략물을 얻음 같이 자기의 목숨을 건지리라. 여호와께서 말씀하시니라 이성이 반드시 바벨론의 왕의 군대의 손에 넘어가리니 그가 차지하리라(38:1-3)” 선포하게 하셨습니다.

For God the Sovereign Lord surely be punished to everyone according to his own deeds of free-wills, as “I will repay them according to their deeds and the work of their hands (25:14)” Even as that times, God willingly leads as that sinners to be repentance and forgiveness of God’s loves by the correctness of the punishment, as “You were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds (Psalms99:8)” That’s why, God was proclaimed his plane of the punishment of destroyed of Judeans through his faithful servant of the prophet Jeremiah, as “Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jehucal son of Shelemiah, and Passhhur son of Malkijah heard what Jeremiah was telling all the people when he said, This is what the Lord says: Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague, but whoever goes over to the Babylonians will live. He will escape with his life; he will live. And this is what the Lord says: This city will certainly be handed over to the army of the king of Babylon, who will capture it (38:1-3)”

그렇지만, “고관들이 왕께 아뢰되 이 사람이 백성의 평안을 구하지 아니하고 재난을 구하오니 청하건대 이 사람을 죽이소서 그가 이같이 말하여 이 성에 남은 군사의 손과 모든 백성의 손을 약하게 하나이다. 시드기야 왕이 이르되 보라 그가 너희 손 안에 있느니라 왕은 조금도 너희를 거스를 수 없느니라 하는지라. 그들이 예레미야를 끌어다가 감옥 뜰에 있는 왕의 아들 말기야의 구덩이에 던져 넣을 때에 예레미야를 줄로 달아내렸는데 그 구덩이에는 물이 없고 진창뿐이므로 예레미야가 진창 속에 빠졌더라(38:4-6)” 하였듯, 사람들은 경고의 말씀을 듣고 죄를 깨닫아 회개하며 순종하지 않고, 경고의 말씀이 듣기 싫어하며 선포하지 못하게 가로막고 핍박하는 죄를 더하여 더 큰 심판을 받게 됩니다.

However, almost of the men doesn’t like to listen as that warning words from God, nor pay attention, but shut up or hedge up of the warning words from God and if possible to be persecuted and killed as that Judean was, as “The officials said to the king, ‘This man should be put to death. He is discouraging the soldiers who are left in this city, as well as all the people, by the things he is saying to them. This man is not seeking the good of these people but their ruin. He is in your hands, King Zedekiah answered. ‘The king can do nothing to oppose you. So, they took Jeremiah and put him into the cistern of Malkijah, the king’s son, which was in the courtyard of the guard. They lowered Jeremiah by ropes into the cistern; it had no water in it, only mud, and Jeremiah sank down into the mud (38:4-6)” That is why, they are surely be condoned by God.

그런데, “왕궁 내시 구스인 에벳멜렉이 그들이 예레미야를 구덩이에 던져 넣었음을 들으니라 그때에 왕이 베냐민 문에 앉았더니, 에벳멜렉이 왕궁에서 나와 왕께 아뢰되, 내 주 왕이여 저 사람들이 선지자 예레미야에게 행한 모든 일은 악하니이다 성 중에 떡이 떨어졌거늘 그들이 그를 구덩이에 던져 넣었으니 그가 거기에서 굶어 죽으리이다 하니, 왕이 구스 사람 에벳멜렉에게 명령하되 너는 여기서 삼십 명을 데리고 가서 선지자 예레미야가 죽기 전에 그를 구덩이에서 끌어내라. 에벳멜렉이 사람들을 데리고 왕궁 곳간 밑 방에 들어가서 거기에서 헝겊과 낡은 옷을 가져다가 그것을 구덩이에 있는 예레미야에게 밧줄로 내리며, 구스인 에벳멜렉이 예레미야에게 이르되 당신은 이 헝겊과 낡은 옷을 당신의 겨드랑이에 대고 줄을 그 아래에 대시오 예레미야가 그대로 하매, 그들이 줄로 예레미야를 구덩이에서 끌어낸지라 예레미야가 시위대 뜰에 머무니라(38:7-13)” 하였듯, 이방인 내시 에벳멜렉이 왕께 간청하고 설득하여 진흙 웅덩이에 빠진 선지자 예레미야를 건져내고 살리게 하시므로, “내가 너로 이 백성 앞에 견고한 놋 성벽이 되게 하리니 그들이 너를 칠지라도 이기지 못할 것은 내가 너와 함께 하여 너를 구하여 건짐이라 여호와의 말씀이니라(15:20)” 하셨던 말씀대로 신실하게 이루시는 하나님이심을 증거합니다.

Even though, for God of Sovereign Lord surely be protection and escaped his faithful servant, as the prophet Jeremiah was took out from the deadly cistern by the gentile’s hand, as “Ebed-Melech, a Cushite, an official in the royal palace, heard that they had put Jeremiah into the cistern. While the king was sitting in the Benjamin Gate, Ebed-Melech went out of the palace and said to him, my lord the king, these men have acted wickedly in all they have done to Jeremiah the prophet. They have thrown him into a cistern, where he will starve to death when there is no longer any bread in the city. Then the king commanded Ebed-Melech the Cushite, ‘Take thirty men from here with you and life Jeremiah the prophet out of the cistern before he dies. So, Ebed-Melech took the men with him and went to a room under the treasury in the palace. He took some old rags and worn-out clothes from there and let them down with ropes to Jeremiah in the cistern. Ebed-Melech the Cushite said to Jeremiah, ‘Put these old rags and let them down with ropes to Jeremiah in the cistern. Ebed-Melech the Cushite said to Jeremiah, ‘Put these old rags and worn-out clothes under your arms to pad the ropes. Jeremiah did so, and they pulled him up with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern. And Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard (38:7-13)” According to the promised word of God, as “I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you, declares the Lord (15:20)”

그런데 “시드기야 왕이 선지자 예레미야를 여호와의 성전 셋째 문으로 데려오게 하고 내가 네게 한 가지 일을 물으리니 한 마디도 내게 숨기지 말라. 예레미야가 시드기야에게 이르되 내가 이 일을 왕에게 아시게 하여도 왕이 결코 나를 죽이지 아니하시리이까 가령 내가 왕을 권한다 할지라도 왕이 듣지 아니하시리이다. 시드기야 왕이 비밀히 예레미야에게 맹세하여 이르되 우리에게 이 영혼을 지으신 여호와께서 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하노니 내가 너를 죽이지도 아니하겠으며 네 생명을 찾는 사람들의 손에 넘기지도 아니하리라 하는지라. 예레미야가 시드기야에게 이르되 만군의 하나님이신 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하시되 네가 만일 바벨론의 왕의 고관들에게 항복하면 네 생명이 살겠고 이성이 불사름을 당하지 아니하겠고 너와 네 가족이 살려니와, 네가 만일 나가서 바벨론의 왕의 고관들에게 항복하지 아니하면 이성이 갈대아인의 손에 넘어가리니 그들이 이성을 불사를 것이며 너는 그들의 손을 벗어나지 못하리라 하셨나이다(38:14-18)” 하였듯, 사람들은 자신에게 맡겨진 사명을 따라 지키거나 순종하지 못하면서도, 하나님의 뜻을 알기 원하며 구하고 찾고 묻게 됩니다.

However, almost of the peoples are could not know his tasks from God clearly or obedience to God’s will, but they are eagerly asks it to the prophets, because, they want to know the true-wills of God, as “King Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah the prophet and had him brought to the third entrance to the temple of the Lord. I am going to ask you something, the king said to Jeremiah. ‘Do not hide anything from me. Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, ‘If I give you an answer, will you not kill me? Even if I did give you counsel, you would not listen to me. But King Zedekiah swore this oath secretly to Jeremiah: ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who has given us breath, I will neither kill you nor hand you over to these who are seeking your life. Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, ‘This is what the Lord God Almighty, the God of Israel, says: If you surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, your life will be spared and this city will not be burned down; you and your family will live. But if you will not surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, this city will be handed over to the Babylonians and they will burn it down; you yourself will not escape from their hands (38:14-18)”

그렇지만, “시드기야 왕이 예레미야에게 이르되 나는 갈대아인에게 항복한 유다인을 두려워하노라 염려하건대 갈대아인이 나를 그들의 손에 넘기면 그들이 나를 조롱할까 하노라(38:19)” 하였듯, 세상과 사람을 바라보고 두려워하므로 믿음을 지키지 못하고 실패하게 되는데 “예레미야가 이르되 그 무리가 왕을 그들에게 넘기지 아니하리이다 원하옵나니 내가 왕에게 아뢴 바 여호와의 목소리에 순종하소서 그리하면 왕이 복을 받아 생명을 보전하시리이다. 그러나 만일 항복하기를 거절하시면 여호와께서 내게 보이신 말씀대로 되리이다. 유다 왕궁에 남아 있는 모든 여자가 바벨론 왕의 고관들에게로 끌려갈 것이요 그 여자들은 네게 말하기를 네 친구들이 너를 꾀어 이기고 네 발이 진흙에 빠짐을 보고 물러갔도다 하리라. 네 아내들과 자녀는 갈대아인에게로 끌려가겠고 너는 그들의 손에서 벗어나지 못하고 바벨론 왕의 손에 잡히리라 또 네가 이 성읍으로 불사름을 당하게 하리라 하셨나이다(38:20-23)” 했듯, 세상이나 사람을 보지 말고, 오직 하나님만 바라고 믿고 의지하며 맡기고 순종해야 말씀대로 이루시는 신실한 하나님의 임마누엘 형통한 은혜와 사랑과 구원을 얻습니다.

Even though, they are could not obeying the true-wills of God, because, they afraid of the men, as king Zedekiah was, as “King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews who have gone over to the Babylonians, for the Babylonians may hand me over to them and they will mistreat me (38:19)” Therefore, God will be protected and saved by the graces and powers of the Immanuel God to whom, he will commit himself to God and sincerely obedient to his tasks from God only, as “They will not hand you over, Jeremiah replied. Obey the Lord by doing what I tell you. Then it will go well with you, and your life will be spared. But if you refuse to surrender, this is what the Lord has revealed to me: All the women left in the palace of the king of Judah will be brought out to the officials of the king of Babylon. Those women will say to you: ‘They misled you and overcame you-those trusted friends of yours. Your feet are sunk in the mud; your friends have deserted you. All your wives and children will be brought out to the Babylonians. You yourself will not escape from their hands but will be captive by the king of Babylon; and this city will be burned down (38:20-23)”

그런데, “시드기야가 예레미야에게 너는 이 말을 어느 사람에게도 알리지 말라 그리하면 네가 죽지 아니하리라. 만일 고관들이 내가 너와 말하였다 함을 듣고 와서 네게 말하기를 네가 왕에게 말씀한 것을 우리에게 전하라 우리에게 숨기지 말라 그리하면 우리가 너를 죽이지 아니하리라 왕이 네게 말씀한 것을 전하라 하거든, 내가 왕 앞에 간구하기를 나를 요나단의 집으로 되돌려 보내지 마소서 그리하여 거기서 죽지 않게 하옵소서 하였다 하라(38:24-26)” 하였듯, 사람을 두려워하며 거짓말을 시키는 자는 실패하지만, “모든 고관이 예레미야에게 물으매 그가 왕이 명령한 모든 말대로 대답하였으므로 일이 탄로되지 아니하였고 그들은 그와 더불어 말하기를 그쳤더라. 예레미야가 예루살렘이 함락되는 날까지 감옥 뜰에 머물렀더라(38:27-28)” 증거하듯 하나님께 맡기고 순종하는 사람은 끝까지 책임지고 보호하시는 임마누엘 하나님의 은혜로 구원을 얻으므로, 경고의 말씀을 듣는 즉시 깨닫고 회개하여 용서하고 회복시키는 은혜와 사랑을 받으며 맡기고 순종하는 믿음으로 복음이 진리를 전하는 생명의 열매를 맺고 구원 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

That’s why, whoever, he shall surely be failed, he who will be make liars as the king Zedekiah was to the prophet Jeremiah, as “Then Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, ‘Do not let anyone know about this conversation, or you may die. If the officials hear that I talked with you, and they come to you and say, ‘Tell us what you said to the king and what the king said to you; do not hide it from us or we will kill you, then tell them, ‘I was pleading with the king not to send me back to Jonathan’s house to die there (38:24-26)” But, everyone will be saved, who will be obedient to his God only, as that the prophet Jeremiah was, as “All the officials did come to Jeremiah and question him, and he told them everything the king had ordered him to say. So, they said no more to him, for no one had heard his conversation with the king. And Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard until the day Jerusalem was captured (38:27-28)” Be loved brothers and sisters. Therefore, you shall be committed and entrusted your ways to your God, and always be humbly obedient for your duties and tasks from God till your last breath, then you will surely be trustworthy witness of the gospel and saved to eternal life in the kingdom of heaven of God forever and ever. I hopefully prayer and pleaded for you to my God, you shall be as good and worthy faith in Christ Jesus all. Amen.
