Russia interested in inter-oceanic canal of Nicaragua - 소련 니카라과 운하 공사 참여

 In a two-day visit to Nicaragua, representatives of the Chamber of Deputies of Russia expressed the interest of the nation to participate in the construction of a canal in the Central American country, which is expected to start the last quarter of this year.

니카라과 방문 이틀 러시아 chamber of deputy 가 올해 4분기에 시작할 운하 공사에 참여의 뜻을 비췄다.

Russia is interested in participating in the construction project of the Inter-Oceanic Nicaragua Canal ,     said the delegation of the Russian State Duma (House of Representatives) in his diplomatic visit to the Central American country.

중미를 외교적인 방문중인 러시아의 국회의장은 양 대양을 잇는 운하 건설에 힘을 보태고 샆어 한다.

Laureano Ortega, CEO of the Investment Promotion Agency of Nicaragua, which have been reported to participation-oriented queries that Russia would work in the canal and is expected to be detailed shortly.

The initiative of the canal dates from 2004, when the government expected larger vessels transiting the Panama Canal travel along the new waterway Nicaragua. However, the cost was 25 billion dollars, exceeding the national budget by then. In 2012 construction was approved again, but is expected to be completed in at least 10 years.

운하 계획은 2004년 부터 시작했고, 비용 250억 달러가 국가 예산 보다 많았는 데 2012년에 다시 승인을 받고 완성까지는 앞으로 10년 걸린다.
