28  Finalement ils arrivèrent près du village où ils se rendaient et il fit comme s’il allait plus loin. 
29  Mais ils lui dirent en insistant : « Reste avec nous, parce que le soir arrive et il va bientôt faire nuit. » Alors il entra dans la maison pour rester avec eux. 
30  Et pendant qu’il était* à table avec eux, il prit le pain, le bénit, le rompit et le leur donna+. 
31  Alors leurs yeux s’ouvrirent pleinement et ils le reconnurent, mais il disparut de devant eux+. 
32  Ils se dirent l’un à l’autre : « Notre cœur ne brûlait-​il pas en nous quand il nous parlait sur la route, quand il nous expliquait clairement* les Écritures ? » 
33  Immédiatement, ils se levèrent et retournèrent à Jérusalem. Ils trouvèrent les Onze réunis avec d’autres disciples, 
34  qui leur dirent : « Le Seigneur a vraiment été ressuscité, et il est apparu à Simon+ ! » 
35  Alors eux-​mêmes racontèrent ce qui s’était passé sur la route, et comment ils l’avaient reconnu quand il avait rompu le pain+.


28  Finally they got close to the village to which they were traveling, and he made as if to travel on farther. 
29  But they urged him to remain, saying: “Stay with us, because it is almost evening and the day is nearly over.” With that he went in to stay with them. 
30  And as he was dining* with them, he took the bread, blessed it, broke it, and began handing it to them.+ 
31  At that their eyes were fully opened and they recognized him; but he disappeared from them.+ 
32  And they said to each other: “Were not our hearts burning within us as he was speaking to us on the road, as he was fully opening up* the Scriptures to us?” 
33  And they got up in that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and they found the Eleven and those assembled together with them, 
34  who said: “For a fact the Lord was raised up, and he appeared to Simon!”+ 
35  Then they related the events on the road and how he became known to them by the breaking of the bread.+


28  마침내 그들이 가려고 하는 마을 가까이 이르렀는데, 그분은 더 멀리 가실 것처럼 행동하셨다. 
29  그들은 그분에게 “저녁이 다 되었고 날도 거의 저물었으니 우리와 함께 머무르십시오” 하고 강권했다. 그래서 그분은 그들과 함께 머물려고 들어가셨다. 
30  그분이 그들과 함께 식사하실* 때에, 빵을 들고 축복의 말씀을 하신 다음 떼어 그들에게 건네주셨다.+ 
31  그러자 그들은 눈이 온전히 열려 그분을 알아보았다. 그러나 그분은 그들에게서 사라지셨다.+ 
32  그들이 서로 말했다. “그분이 길에서 우리에게 말씀하시면서 성경을 온전히 열어 주실* 때에, 속에서 우리 마음이 타오르지 않았던가?” 
33  그 즉시 그들이 일어나 예루살렘으로 돌아와 보니, 열한 제자와 다른 제자들이 함께 모여 
34  “주께서 정말 일으킴을 받으셨고 시몬에게 나타나셨습니다!” 하고 말하고 있었다.+ 
35  그들은 길에서 있었던 일과 빵을 떼실 때 그분을 알아보게 된 일을 이야기했다.+
