18

1  The LORD said to Aaron, "You and your sons as well as the other members of your ancestral house shall be

    respnsible for the sanctuary; but the responsibility of the priesthood shall rest on you and your sons alone.

    주님께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "성소를 범한 죄에 대해서는 너와 네 아들들과 네 집안이 함께 책임을 져야 한다. 너희의 사제직

    범한 죄에 대해서는 너와 네 아들들이 함께 책임을 져야 한다.

2  Bring with you also your other kinsmen of the tribe of Levi, your ancestral tribe, as your associates and assistants,

   while you and your sons are in front of the tent of the commandments.

    너는 네 아버지 지파인 레위 지파에 속한 형제들도 데려오너라. 그리하여 너와 네 아들들이 증언판을 모신 천막 앞에 잇을 때, 그

    들이 네 곁에 있으면서 시중을 들게 하여라.

3  They shall look after your persons and the whole tent; however, they shall not come near the scred vessels or the

    altar, lest both they and you die.

    그들은 너를 위한 임무와 천막 전체를 위한 임무를 수행한다. 그러나 성소의 기물들이나 제단이 가까이 와서는 안 된다. 그렇게

    하였다가는 그들뿐 아니라 너희도 죽을 것이다.

4  As your associates they shall have charge of all the work connected with the meeting tent. But no layman shall

   come near you.

    그들은 네 곁에 있으면서, 만남의 천막에서 이루어지는 온갖 일과 관련하여 그곳에서 맡은 임무를 수행한다. 속인은 너희에게 가

    까이 와서는 안 된다.

5  You shall have charge of the sanctuary and of the altar, that wrath may not fall again upon the lsraelites.

    너희는 성소를 위한 임무와 제단을 위한 임무를 수행하여, 다시는 이스라엘 자손들에게 격분이 내리지 않게 하여라.

6  "Remember, it is I who have taken your kinsmen, the Levites, from the body of the lsraelites; they are a gift to you,

   dedicated to the LORD for the service of th emeeting tent.

    이제 나는 이스라엘 자손들 가운데에서 너희 형제 레위인들을 가려낸다. 그들은 만남의 천막 일을 하도록 너희에게 내린 선물이

    며, 주님에게 바쳐진 이들이다.

7  But only you and your sons are to have charge of performing the priestly functions in whatever concerns the altar

    and the room within the veil. I give you the priesthood as a gift. Any layman who draws near shall be put to

    death."

    너와 네 아들들은 제단과 휘장 안의 모든 일과 관련하여 사제직을 수행하고, 그곳에서 일을 해야 한다. 나는 너희의 사제직을 선

    물로 준다. 가까이 오는 속인은 죽게 될 것이다."

The Priests' Share of the Sacrifices(사세의 몫)

8  The LORD said to Aaron, "I myself have given you charge of the contributions made to me in the various sacred

    offerings of the lsraelites; by \perpetual ordinance I have assigned them to you and to your sons as your priestly

    share.

    주님께서 아론에게 이르셨다. "자, 나는 사람들이 나에게 바치는 예물들의 관리를 너에게 맡긴다. 이스라엘 자손들이 바치는 모

    든 거룩한 예물 가운데에서 한 부분을 영원한 규정에 따라 너와 네 아들들의 몫으로 준다.

9  You shall have the right to share in the oblations that are most sacred, in whatever they offer me as cereal

    offerings or sin offerings or guilt offerings; these shares shares shall accrue to you and to your sons.

    불에 사르지 않는 가장 거룩한 것 가운데에서 이것들이 너의 차지가 될 것이다. 곧 그들이 나에게 되돌려 주는 모든 곡식 제물과

    모든 속죄 제물과 모든 보상 제물 등 그들의 모든 예물이다. 이는 가장 거룩한 것으로서 너와 네 아들들의 것이다.

10 In eating them you shall treat them as most sacred; every male among you may partake of them. As sacred, they

    belong to you.

    너는 그것을 가장 거룩한 것으로 알고 먹어야 한다. 남자는 모두 그것을 먹을 수 있다. 그것은 너에게 거룩한 것이다.

11 "You shall also have what is removed form the gift in every wave offering of th elsraelites; by perpetual ordinance I

    have assigned it to you and to your sons and daughters. All in your who are clean may partake of it.

    또 이것들도 너의 차지다. 이스라엘 자손들의 선물 가운데 들어 올려 바친 예물과 흔들어 바친 모든 예물을, 내가 영원한 규정에

    따라, 너와 네 아들들, 그리고 너와 함께 있는 너의 딸들에게 준다. 네 집안에 있는 사람으로 정결한 이는 모두 그것을 먹을 수

    있다.

12 I have also assigned to you all the best of the new oil and of the new wine and grain that they give to the LORD as

    their first fruits;

    가장 좋은 햇기름과 가장 좋은 햇포도주와 곡식, 곧 그들이 주님에게 바치는 맏물을 모두 내가 너에게 준다.

13 and likewise, of whatever grows on their land, the first products that they bring in to the LORD shall be yours; all

    of yhour family who are clean may partake of them.

    그들의 땅에서 나는 모든 것 가우데에서 그들이 주님에게 가져오는 맏물은 너의 것이 된다. 네 집안에 있는 사람으로 정결한 이

    는 모두 그것을 먹을 수 있다.

14 Whatever is doomed in lsrael shall be yours.

    이스라엘에서 바쳐지는 완전 봉헌물도 모두 너의 것이 된다.

15 Every living thing that opens the womb, whether of man or of beast, such as are to be offered to the LORD, shall

   be yours; but you must let the first-born of man, as well as of unclean animals, be redeemed.

   사람이나 짐승이나 육체를 지닌 온갖 것들 가운데에서, 모태를 처음으로 열고 나와 주님에게 바쳐지는 것도 모두 너의 것이 된

   다. 그러나 사람의 맏아들은 대속해야 한다. 부정한 짐승의 맏배도 대속해야 한다.

16 The ransom for a boy is to be paid when he is a month old; it is fixed at five silver shekels according to the

    sanctuary standard, twenty gerahs to the shekel.

    한 달 된 것부텨 대속하는데, 그 값은 스무 게라를 한 세켈로 하는 성소 세켈에 따라 은 다섯 세켈로 정하여라.

17 But the kfirst-born of cattle, sheep or goats shall not be redeemed; they are sacred. their blood you must splash on

    the altar and thrir fat you must burn as a wweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.

    그러나 소의 맏배나 양의 맏배나 염소의 맏배는 대속하지 못한다. 그것들은 거룩한 것이다. 그 피는 제단에 뿌리고, 굳기름은 주

    님을 위한 향기로운 불에 살라 바쳐야 한다.

18 Their meat, however, shall be yours, just as the breast and the right leg of the wave offering belong to you.

    그러나 그 살코기는 흔들어 바친 가슴 부위와 오른쪽 넓적다리처럼 너의 것이 된다.

19 By perpetuall ordinance I have assigned to you and to your sons and daughters all the contributions from the

    sacred gifts which the lsraelites make to the LORD; this is an inviolable covenant to last forever before the LORD,

    for you and for your descendants."

    이스라엘 자손들이 주님에게 들어 올려 바치는 거룩한 예물들은 모두, 영원한 규정에 따라, 내가 너와 너의 아들들, 그리고 너와

    함께 있는 너의 딸들에게 준다. 이는 너와 너의 후손들을 위하여 주님 앞에서 맺은 영원한 소금 계약이다."

20 Then the LORD said to Aaron, "You shall not have any heritage in the land of th elsraelites nor hold any portion

    among them; I will be your portion and your heritage among them.

    주님께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 이스라엘 자손들의 땅에서 상속 재산을 가질 수 없다. 그들 사이에서 너에게 돌아갈 몫은

    없다. 이스라엘 자손들 가운데에서 네가 받을 몫가 상속 재산은 바로 나다."

Tithes Dur the Levites(레위인의 몫)

21 "To the Levites, however, I hereby assign all tithes in lsrael as their heritage in recompense for the service they

    perform in the meeting tent.

    "레위의 자손들에게는, 만남의 천막에서 그들이 하는 일의 값으노, 이스라엘에서 나는 십일조 전부를 재산으로 준다.

22 The lsraelites may no longer approach the meeting tent; else theyi will incur guilt deserving death.

    앞으로 이스라엘 자손들은 만남의 천막 가까이 오지 못한다. 그랬다가는 그 죗값을 지고 죽을 것이다.

23 Only the Levites are to perform the service of the meeting tent, and they alone shall be held responsible; this is a

    perpetual ordinance for all your generations. The Levites, therefore, shll not have any heritage among the

    lsraelites,

    만남의 천막 일을 레위인들만 하과, 자기들의 잘못에 대해서는 스스로 책임을 진다. 이는 너희가 대대로 지켜야 할 규칙이다. 그

    들은 이스라엘 자손들 사이에서 상속 재단을 받지 못한다.

24 for I have assigned to them as their heritage the tithes which the lsraelites give as a cntribution to the LORD. That

    is why I have ordered that they are not to have any heritage among the lsraelites."

    이스라엘 자손들이 주님에게 들어 올려 바치는 십일조를 내가 레위인들에게 재산으로 주기 때문이다. 그래서 그들은 이스라엘

    자손들 가운데에서 상속 재산을 받지 못한다고 내가 말한 것이다."

Tithes Paid by the Levites(레위인의 십일조)

25 The LORD said to Moses,

    주님께서 모세에게 이르셨다.

26 "Give the Levites these instructions: When you receive from the lsraelites the tithes I have assigned you form them

    as your heritage, you are to make a contribution from them to the LORD, a tithe of the tithes;

    "너는 레위인들에게 일러라. 그들에게 이렇게 말하여라. '내가 너희에게 재산으로 주는 십일조를 이스라엘 자손들에게 받으면,

    너희는 그 십일조에서 십일조을 떼어 주님에게 들어 올려 바치는 예물로 올려야 한다.

27 and your contribution will be reedited to you as if it were grain form the threshing floor or new wine from the

    press.

    그것은 타작마당의 곡식과 술들의 포도주처럼, 너희가 들어 올려 바치는 예물로 셈해질 것이다.

28 thus you too shall make a contribution from all the tithes you receive from the lsraelites, handing ovr to Aaron

    the priest the part to ve contributen to the LORD.

    그러므로 너희는 이스라엘 자손들에게서 받는 모든 십일조에서 그 일부를 주님에게 들어 올려 바쳐야 한다. 너희는 그것을 주님

    에게 들어 올려 바치는 예물로 아론 사제에게 주어야 한다.

29 From all the gifts that you receive, and from the best parts, you ar to consecrate to the LORD your own full

    comtribution.

    너희가 받는 모든 선물 가운데 일부를 주님에게 들어 올려 바치는 온전한 예물로 올려야 한다. 그 모든 것 가운데에서도 가장 좋

    은 것을 거룩한 예물로 올려야 한다.'

30 "Tell them also" Once you have made your contribution form the best part, the rest of the tithes will be credited to

    you Levites as if it were produce of the thresghing floor or of the winepress.

    너는 또 그들에게 말하여라. '너희가 그 가운데 가장 좋은 것을 들어 올려 바치면, 나머지는 레위인들을 위하여 타작마당의 소출

    과 술틀의 소촐로 셈해질 것이다.

31 Your families, as well as you, may eat them anywhere, since they are your recempense for service at the meeting

    tent.

    그것은 너희와 너희 집안 사람들이 아무 곳에서나 먹을 수 있다. 그것은 만남의 천막에서 너희가 하는 일의 값으로 너희가 받는

   보수이다.

32 You will incur no guilt so long as you make a contribution of th ebest part. Do not profane the sacred gifts of the

    lsraelites and so bring death on yourselves."

    그 가운데 가장 좋은 것을 들어 올려 바치면, 너희는 그 일에 대한 죗값을 지지 않을 것이다. 그리하여 이스라엘 자손들이 바치

    는 거룩한 예물을 더럽혀서 너희가 죽는 일이 없을 것이다.'"
