미국 원주민 보호구역 아리조나 투바시티에서 원주민들을 섬기는 이영호, 이선옥 선교사가 주님의 이름으로 평강을 기원하며 인사드립니다.

We, pastor Young & Sun Lee who're serving Native Americans in Tuba City Arizona give our greetings with wishes of peace in the name of our Lord.

전도서 3:1-8

1 천하에 범사가 기한이 있고 모든 목적이 이룰 때가 있나니

2 날 때가 있고 죽을 때가 있으며 심을 때가 있고 심은 것을 뽑을 때가 있으며

3 죽일 때가 있고 치료 시킬 때가 있으며 헐 때가 있고 세울 때가 있으며

4 울 때가 있고 웃을 때가 있으며 슬퍼할 때가 있고 춤출 때가 있으며

5 돌을 던져 버릴 때가 있고 돌을 거둘 때가 있으며 안을 때가 있고 안는 일을 멀리 할 때가 있으며

6 찾을 때가 있고 잃을 때가 있으며 지킬 때가 있고 버릴 때가 있으며

7 찢을 때가 있고 꿰맬 때가 있으며 잠잠할 때가 있고 말할 때가 있으며

8 사랑할 때가 있고 미워할 때가 있으며 전쟁할 때가 있고 평화할 때가 있느니라.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

갈 바를 알지 못하는 나그네 사역자는 지금 이 순간이 무엇을 위한 시간인지 알지 못하여 그저 할 수 있는 작은 일들에 미력을 다할 뿐입니다.

A ministry sojourner who doesn't know where to go, doesn't know what this moment is for, so he just does his best to do small things he can.

사역부지, 거주부지, 그리고 중장기 동역자 확보 문제

현지사정상 건축부지는 거의 포기상태지만 방과후학교 사역에 관한 기대감과 의지는 여전합니다.

대면의 경우에는 이에 관해 좀 더 자세한 내용을 나누지만 여기서는 생략합니다.

Business Site, Home Site, and Mid/Long-Term Field Missionary Needed

I almost gave up these land contracts but my expectation & intention of the After-School Program still remains strong.

I share more details about it when we meet face to face but sorry to stop here.

목회 사역

4월 네 번의 주일 중에 세 번을 Bitter Springs Baptist Church에서 예배드리며 5일 부활주일 말씀을 비롯하여 마태복음 함께 읽기로 말씀을 나눴습니다.

마지막 주일(26)은 전에 말씀을 전하던, 지금은 다른 목사님이 말씀을 전하는 투바시티 장로교회에서 예배드리며 교제를 나눴습니다.

그리고 성경읽기를 돕기 위한 저의 작업도 창세기에서 계속되고 있는데 지금은 30장까지 마쳤습니다.

영어 본문에 약간의 생각을 영어로 더하는 비교적 단순한 작업인데 강물에 빵을 던지는 마음으로, 혹은 밭에 씨앗을 뿌리는 마음으로 하다 보니 제가 배우고 즐기는 과제가 되었습니다.

저로서는 아마도 평생 성경 학습자로 사는 것이 가장 큰 행복이 아닌가 싶습니다.

PASTORAL MINISTRY

We worshiped three times out of four weeks in April at the Bitter Springs Baptist Church and shared the Book of Matthew together, including the Message on the Resurrection Sunday on 5th.

In the last week(26), We worshiped and had a fellowship at the Tuba City Presbyterian Church, where I used to share but now another pastor sharing.

And my work to help the local people's reading the Bible continues on Genesis up to Chapter 30.

It's a relatively simple task of adding a little thought to the English text, but it's become a task that I learn and enjoy by throwing bread in the river or sowing seeds in the field.

I think my greatest happiness is to be a lifelong Bible learner.

장마당사역: 무료 침치료 및 문서사역

4월에는 네 번 중 네 번 출장하여 침치료 35건, 문서사역 10건을 감당했습니다.

세 번째 금요일(17)은 아침부터 바람이 많이 불었습니다.

천막사역 시절에는 아예 출장 불가한 날씨였습니다만 버스 덕분에 출장했습니다.

장마당에 입장하여 준비를 마쳤지만 한 시간 만에 당국(채프터하우스)에서 철수하라고 하는 바람에 이웃 공터로 옮겼습니다.

6시 기상, 8시 출장, 2시 30분 폐장, 3시 귀가까지 총 아홉 시간의 일정인데 총 네 분이 찾아오셔서 기쁨으로 치료했습니다.

그나마 이동진료버스 덕에 출장해서 버텼으며 그 날씨에도 우리를 찾아주신 네 분으로 인해서 감사 가성비가 바구니에 그득했습니다.

MARKET MINISTRY with Free Acupuncture and Booklet Ministry

In April, we went out four times out of four weeks to treat 35 acupuncture cases and 10 literature ministries.

The third Friday (17) was very windy from the early morning.

It used to be not possible to go on at all when we were with a tent, but we were able to be out with a bus.

We entered the regular marketplace and finished preparing, but within an hour, we were told to withdraw from the authorities (Chapter House), so moved to a neighboring vacant lot.

It's a total of nine hours from waking up at 6 a.m., to market at 8, closing at 2:30 a.m., and returning home at 3 p.m., a total of four people came for treatment filling us with thanks.

Particularly because of the mobile clinic bus, we survived the day, and much thanks to God in our hearts for the four of those who visited us in such a weather.
