성경말씀: 예레미야 39-40장

Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 39~40

여호와 하나님께서 “이 성에 머무는 자는 칼과 기근과 전염병에 죽으리라 그러나 갈대아인에게 항복하는 자는 살리니 그는 노략물을 얻음 같이 자기의 목숨을 건지리라(38:2)” 하셨지만, 듣지 않고 무시하다, “유다의 시드기야 왕의 제구년 열째 달에 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕과 그의 모든 군대가 와서 예루살렘을 에워싸고 치더니, 시드기야의 제십일년 넷째 달 아홉째 날에 성이 함락되니라 예루살렘이 함락되매, 바벨론의 왕의 모든 고관이 나타나 중문에 앉으니 곧 네르갈사레셀과 삼갈네부와 내시장 살스김이니 네르갈사레셀은 궁중 장관이며 바벨론의 왕의 나머지 고관들도 있더라. 유다의 시드기야 왕과 모든 군사가 그들을 보고 도망하되 밤에 왕의 동산 길을 따라 두 담 샛문을 통하여 성읍을 벗어나서 아라바로 갔더니, 갈대아인의 군대가 그들을 따라 여리고 평원에서 시드기야에게 미쳐 그를 잡아서 데리고 하맛 땅 리블라에 있는 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕에게로 올라가매 왕이 그를 심문하였더라(39:1-5)” 증거하듯, 일년 반 동안 극심한 포위공격을 받다가 멸망하였습니다.

For the Lord God Almighty was attention of warning to the Judah, as “Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague, but whoever goes over to the Babylonians will live. He will escape with his life (38:2)” However, they were didn’t listened but disregarded and disobeyed it, so, that they were severely sieged one and a half years to invaded and destroyed completely, as “In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army and laid siege to it. And on the ninth day of the fourth month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year, the city wall was broken through. Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came and took seats in the Middle Gate: Nergal-Sharezer of Smagar, Nebo-Sarsekim a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezar a high official and all the other officials of the king of Babylon. When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled; they left the city at night by way of the king’s garden, through the gate between the two walls, and headed toward the Arabah. But the Babylonian army pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. They captured him and took him to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced sentence on him (39:1-5)”

그리고, “바벨론의 왕이 리블라에서 시드기야의 눈 앞에서 그의 아들들을 죽였고 왕이 또 유다의 모든 귀족을 죽였으며, 왕이 또 시드기야의 눈을 빼게 하고 바벨론으로 옮기려고 사슬로 결박하였더라. 갈대아인들이 왕궁과 백성의 집을 불사르며 예루살렘 성벽을 헐었고, 사령관 느부사라단이 성중에 남아 있는 백성과 자기에게 항복한 자와 그 외의 남은 백성을 잡아 바벨론으로 옮겼으며, 사령관 느부사라단이 아무 소유가 없는 빈민을 유다 땅에 남겨 두고 그 날에 포도원과 밭을 그들에게 주었더라(39:6-10)” 증거하듯, 왕자들과 고관들은 죽임을 당하고 왕은 눈이 뽑혔으며 백성들과 함께 포로가 되어 끌려갔지만, “바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕이 예레미야에 대하여 사령관 느부사라단에게 명령하여 이르되, 그를 데려다가 선대하고 해하지 말며 그가 네게 말하는 대로 행하라. 이에 사령관 느부사라단과 내시장 느부사스반과 궁중 장관 네르갈사레셀과 바벨론 왕의 모든 장관이, 사람을 보내어 예레미야를 감옥 뜰에서 데리고 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게 넘겨서 그를 집으로 데려가게 하매 그가 백성 가운데에 사니라(39:11-14)” 증거하듯, 하나님 말씀을 대언하며 순종한 예례미야는 선대를 받아 살아남았습니다.

In addition, the sons of the king and the noblemen were killed by sword in the eyes of the king and the king took out his eyes and chained carried to the Babylon with his peoples, as “There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes and also killed all the nobles of Judah. Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon. The Babylonians set fire to the royal palace and the houses of the people and broke down the walls of Jerusalem. Nebuzaradan commander of the Imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him, and the rest of the people. But Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard left behind in the land of Judah some of the poor people, who owned nothing; and at that time, he gave them vineyards and fields (39:6-10)” Nevertheless, the prophet Jeremiah was saved his life by the providence of God causes he was sincerely obedient to his God within the risked of his life, as “Now Bebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had given these orders about Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard: Take him and look after him; don’t harm him but do for him whatever he asks. So Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard, Nebushazban a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer a high official and all the other officers of the king of Babylon, sent and had Jeremiah taken out of the courtyard of the guard. They turned him over to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him back to his home. So, he remained among his own people (39:11-14)”

그리고, “예레미야가 감옥 뜰에 갇혔을 때에 여호와의 말씀이 그에게 임하니라 이르시되, 너는 가서 구스인 에벳멜렉에게 말하기를 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님의 말씀에 내가 이 성에 재난을 내리고 복을 내리지 아니하리라 한 나의 말이 그 날에 네 눈 앞에 이루리라. 여호와의 말씀이니라 내가 그 날에 너를 구원하리니 네가 그 두려워하는 사람들의 손에 넘겨지지 아니하리라. 내가 반드시 너를 구원할 것인즉 네가 칼에 죽지 아니하고 네가 노략물 같이 네 목숨을 얻을 것이니 이는 네가 나를 믿었음이라 여호와의 말씀이니라(39:15-18)” 하였듯, 하나님의 사람이 억울하게 죽음을 당하지 않도록 자신의 목숨을 걸고 구원했던 이방인 에벳멜렉도 살아남는 은혜를 받았는데, 누구든지 하나님을 바라고 믿고 의지하며 하나님의 뜻에 자신을 맡기고 순종하며 선하고 의로운 삶을 살면 구원하시는 것이, 하나님이 그리스도 안에 정한 구원의 법칙입니다.

Moreover, Ebed-Melech was escaped his life by God even he is gentile cause, he had been trusted God and helped for the life of a God’s faithful servant Jeremiah, as “While Jeremiah had been confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him: Go and tell Ebed-Melech the Cushite, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to fulfill my words against this city through disaster, not prosperity. At that time, they will be fulfilled before your eyes. But I will rescue you on that day, declares the Lord; you will not be handed over to those you fear. I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the Lord (39:15-18)”

그러므로 “사령관 느부사라단이 예루살렘과 유다의 포로를 바벨론으로 옮기는 중에 예레미야도 잡혀 사슬로 결박되어 가다가 라마에서 풀려난 후에 말씀이 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 임하니라. 사령관이 예레미야를 불러다가 이르되 네 하나님 여호와께서 이 곳에 이 재난을 선포하시더니, 여호와께서 그가 말씀하신 대로 행하셨으니 너희가 여호와께 범죄하고 그의 목소리에 순종하지 아니하였으므로 이제 이 일이 너희에게 임하고 이루어졌도다. 내가 오늘 네 손에서 사슬을 풀어 주노니 만일 네가 나와 함께 바벨론으로 가는 것을 좋게 여기거든 가자 내가 너를 선대하리라 만일 나와 함께 바벨론으로 가는 것을 좋지 않게 여기거든 그만 두라 온 땅이 네 앞에 있으니 네가 좋게 여기고 옳게 여기는 곳으로 갈지니라 하니라. 예레미야가 아직 돌이키기 전에 그가 다시 이르되 너는 바벨론의 왕이 유다 성읍들을 맡도록 세운 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게로 돌아가서 그와 함께 백성 가운데 살거나 네가 옳게 여기는 곳으로 가거나 할지니라 하고 사령관이 그에게 양식과 선물을 주어 보내매, 예레미야가 미스바로 가서 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게로 나아가서 그땅에 남아 있는 백성 가운데서 그와 함께 사니라(40:1-6)” 증거하듯, 하나님만 바라고 믿고 의지하며 어떠한 고난에도 굴복하지 않고 순종하는 믿음을 지키면, 어디든지 자신이 원하는 대로 선택하여 가거나 살 자유를 주시는 임마누엘 하나님의 형통한 은혜의 법칙을 가르칩니다.

That is why, whoever surely be saved by God with the redemption and salvation in Christ Jesus, if he will be trusted and committed and entrusted his life to God and stand firmly his humbly obedient to the true-wills of his God until his last breath, as “The word came to Jeremiah from the Lord after Nebuzaradan commander of the Imperial guard had released him at Ramah. He had found Jeremiah bound in chains among all the captives from Jerusalem and Judah who were being carried into exile to Babylon. When the commander of the guard found Jeremiah, he said to him, ‘The You’re your God decreed this disaster for this place. And now the Lord has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would. All this happened because your people sinned against the Lord and did not obey him. But today I am freeing you from the chains of your wrists. Come with me to Babylon, if you like, and I will look after you; but if you do not want to, then don’t come. Look, the whole country pies before you; go wherever you please. However, before Jeremiah turned to go, Nebuzaradan added, ‘Go back to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the towns of Judah, and live with him among the people, or go anywhere else you please. Then the commander gave him provisions and a present and let him go. So, Jeremiah went to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah and stayed with him among the people who were left behind in the land (40:1-6)” Because it is only the way of salvation and eternal life within the Christ Jesus by the graces, loves and powers of the Immanuel God.

그래서 “들에 있는 모든 지휘관과 부하들이 바벨론의 왕이 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게 그 땅을 맡기고 남녀와 유아와 바벨론으로 잡혀가지 아니한 빈민을 그에게 위임하였다 함을 듣고, 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘과 가레아의 두 아들 요하난과 요나단과 단후멧의 아들 스라야와 느도바 사람 에배의 아들들과 마아가 사람의 아들 여사냐와 그들의 사람들이 미스바로 가서 그다랴에게 이르니, 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴가 그들과 그들의 사람들에게 맹세하며 이르되 너희는 갈대아 사람을 섬기기를 두려워하지 말고 이 땅에 살면서 바벨론의 왕을 섬기라 그리하면 너희에게 유익하리라. 나는 미스바에 살면서 우리에게로 오는 갈대아 사람을 섬기리니 너희는 포도주와 여름 과일과 기름을 모아 그릇에 저장하고 너희가 얻은 성읍들에 살라 하니라. 모압과 암몬 자손 중과 에돔과 모든 지방에 있는 유다 사람도 바벨론의 왕이 유다에 사람을 남겨두고 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴를 그들을 위하여 세웠다 함을 듣고, 모든 유다 사람이 쫓겨났던 각처에서 돌아와 유다 땅 미스바에 사는 그다랴에게 이르러 포도주와 여름 과일을 심히 많이 모으니라(40:7-12)” 증거하므로, 사람을 통해 선포되는 말씀을 듣든지, 성경 말씀을 보고 깨닫든지, 성령의 가르침을 받든지, 하나님의 뜻을 따라 믿고 의지하며 맡기고 순종하여, 임마누엘 하나님 형통한 은혜와 사랑과 복을 받으며, 그리스도 복음의 진리를 전하는 생명의 열매를 맺어야 구원을 얻는다는 뜻입니다. 그처럼 올바른 믿음 되기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

That’s why, the bible said and witnesses it, as “When the all the army officers and their men who were still on the open country heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam as governor over the land and had put him in charge of the men, women and children who were the poorest in the land and who had not been carried into exile to Babylon, they came to Gedaliah at Mizpah-Ishmael son of Nethaniah, Johana and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, Seraiah son of Tanhumeth, the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and their men. Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, took an oath to reassure them and their men. Do not be afraid to serve the Baylonians, he said. Settle down in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will go well with you. I myself will stay at Mizpah to represent you before the Babylonians who come to us, but you are to harvest the wine, summer fruit and oil, and put them in your storage jars, and live in the towns you have taken over. When all the Jews in Moab, Ammon, Edom and all the other countries heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant in Judah and had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, as governor over them, they all came back to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah at Mizpah, from all the countries where they had been scattered. And they harvested an abundance of wine and summer fruit (40:7-12)” Be loved brothers and sisters. Therefore you shall be carefully catch up the true-wills of God and believed, when you heard the someone’s preaching or reading the bible or learned by the Holy Spirit alike, and sincerely trusted of the Almighty God of the heavenly Father and confidently trusted your Savior Christ Jesus and committed and entrusted everything in yourselves with your lives, then the Holy Spirit will become your Trinity God of Immanuel and leads you to the trustworthy witness of the gospel to bear fruits of life with loves and leads your spirit to the kingdom of heaven of God eternally. I hopefully prayer and pleaded for you to God. All of you surely be as that good and worthy faith in Christ Jesus. Amen.
