The Church Officer Who Has a Mission(Acts 6:1~7)
"Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word."(3~4)
Hymn #93 Jesus Is All the World to Me(Unified Hymn 93)
If you continue to say, "I'm the church officer and businessperson who will save the world," for 24 hours every day, then everything will emerge. In other words, as a church officer businessperson, you can see situations and do "prayer 24" and "evangelism 24." By not listening to people, "24" will take place. But in order to do so, you must possess something real that'll allow you to comfortably focus on prayer. Being a church officer, you must grab hold of three missions.
1. Changing Your Imprints, Roots, and Nature
This is the greatest mission given to all church officers. By doing “24," your imprints; roots; and nature will change to "only Christ"; "only God's Kingdom"; and "only Holy Spirit."(Acts 1:1, 3, & 8)
2. Changing Worship
If "24" takes place, you can change worship as well. When you come to worship, you must already possess your complete mission. These words, "When the day of Pentecost came," is worship. You must have the mission to enjoy that(Acts 2:1~4). If worship is revived, doors that plow into other nations will begin to open(Acts 2:9~13). In addition, whenever you give worship, the future will be seen(Acts 2:17~18). Because people had received grace in that manner and gave their offering, the Early Church was never short of funds(Acts 2:43~45). As a result, works of salvation began to take place every day at the homes and in the temple(Acts 2:46~47).
3. The Power to Change the World
God has given church officers the power and mission to change the world. In Acts 6, church officers were raised(Acts 6:1~7), and among them was Stephen. Although he died after giving only one message, the Church at Antioch was established because of him(Acts 7:1~60). Through these church officers, God raised works in Samaria and even allowed Philip to meet the Ethiopian eunuch(Acts 8:4~8 & 26~40). God also sent Paul to the place where Ananias was(Acts 9:10 & 15). Then God told Cornelius to send men to bring Peter who was staying at the house of Simon the tanner(Acts 10:1~45).
Through those instances, the streams of both the living Word and answers to prayer can be seen. From that point on, you'll become a witness and ride the stream of a witness. Ultimately, church officers are witnesses who save people by receiving answers.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, through the blessings of "24," may church officers who will save the future have a new day of receiving important answers. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
