But 'You may have five pens here' means I can get five pens and that's it. The in-betwen is not referred nor possible. Is she right ?

So, I arrived at a conclusion that the pattern 'as .. as' would be '~까지'

therefore 'as many as ten people' is '(최대) 10명까지'

and 'as little as blah blah is' is '(최소) ~까지.'

Since then, I had little difficulty in understanding expressions including the 'as..as' pattern. Maybe I've been mistaken till now.
