Seung-han Lee   Wow, I feel so overdressed here at the San Francisco branch.

Isla Merkel          Well, that's because we observe Casual Friday here.

                          Management encourage us to dress in business casual attire every Friday.

Seung-han Lee   Oh, I didn't factor that into my packing for this business trip.

Isla Merkel          I see. What is the general office dress code(복장규정) in Korea?

Seung-han Lee   It varies from industry to industry.

                         For instance, some companies allow employees to forgo(do without) neckties in the humid summer.

Isla Merkel          On Casual Fridays, we're allowed to wear everything but jeans or open-toed shoes. The only

                    exception is, of course, if we are scheduled to have an important visitor on Friday.

Seung-han Lee   Oh, it's a pity that I didn't know in advance.

 I would have packed khakis instead of just formal suits.
