<p>페이스북에 보니, "그리스도의 모든 순종"이라는 그룹이 생긴 것을 보았습니다. 좋은 일이라 생각합니다. 그런데 어떤 책을 읽다보니, 존 포브스는 능동 순종의 전가를 지지하는 사람이 아니더군요. 그런데 마치 포브스가 능동 순종의 전가를 지지하는 사람인 것처럼 그곳에 소개가 되어 있어서, 이를 바로잡고자 글을 씁니다. 전 목사님이 올리신 글은 포브스의 의견이 아니라, 포브스가 '우리에게 전가되는 그리스도의 의'를 '세 가지' 다른 의미로 이해할 수 있다고 소개한 글일 뿐입니다. 전 목사님이 올리신 글은 그 세 가지 중에 앞의 두 가지 의견이고, 포브스는 세 번째로 '우리에게 수동 순종의 의만 전가된다'는 의견을 말한 뒤, 자신이 그 의견을 지지한다는 것을 쭉 밝히고 있습니다. 전 목사님이 글을 올리신 의도는 모르겠지만, 노 목사님 페북에 보니 마치 포브스의 칭의관이 웨민 신앙고백의 칭의관인 것처럼 소개해 놓았던데, 사실이 아닙니다. 다음은 포브스의 의견입니다. 번역본(개혁주의 칭의론)이 없어서, 원문을 그대로 옮기는 점, 양해 바랍니다. </p><p> </p><p>"<span style="color: #000000;">The word, every where, when it speakes of our righteousnes, not vnder the generall worde of Christes obedience, but particularly, by those workes of his obedience, wherein our righteousnes consisteth: doeth onely mention his sufferinge, death, or laying downe of his life, or his bloud, or his oblation, or offering of him selfe, or his being made sinne, or his bearinge the chastisement of our peace, and such like phrases. @사계四季 번역 상태가 매우 안 좋군요. 그래도 곳곳에 보면, 저자가 그리스도의 수동 순종만을 우리에게 전가되는 의로 말한다는 점은 어느 정도 분명해 보이네요.
