I attended an English discussion cafe which holds a regular meeting every Thursday and Saturday. The subject of this seminar was "Hansoft vs MS Word". That article was concerned with the acquisition of Hansoft made by MS Word. MS Word's attempt to merge Hansoft failed because many Korean and civic organizations had a campaign to survive Hansoft. I prepared my opinion about this topic but the others had a different views to mine. I thought that most of us use the Hansoft's software because I have never used MS Word software and it is impossible to find MS Word in my university. But they said that it is impossible to send foreigners word files stored by Hansoft software because they can't open those files. I realized that most of workers use MS word ! I was struck by that fact and could not express my opinion. All of a sudden, I felt my head swims and did not speak a word. I could get two points through this discussion. First of all, there are so many things which I don't know correctly. Second of all, I should study not only various English expressions but also diverse culture or information if I desire to master foreign languages.
