Thursday.</strong><br><br><strong>Broken vessel(Acts 11:19~21)</strong><br><br> Now those how had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, spreading the word only among Jews. Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus(19~20).<br><br><strong>Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/ English Hymnal #251 I can sing now the song (#189 in previous version)</strong><br><br> Israel received the greatest blessing but it also suffered many hardships, pain and destruction. Answer to prayer is the Holy Spirit's surest promise. However, churches are not receiving blessings as they should be, their numbers are shrinking, and they are experiencing difficulties. If the broken vessels are fixed the churches can receive and enjoy many answers, but in their broken state they cannot do this. What must we fix in order to receive the most perfect answer?<br><br><strong>1. The time schedule of renewal</strong><br> If you know and fix the areas that are broken then God will change us anew. When Peter who denied Jesus fixed the broken areas in his life and renewed himself, he received the answer of being used for the Gospel. When Paul who was bound by legalism received the solution of Jesus Christ, he received the blessing of becoming a focal point for the evangelism movement. Also, once the Antioch Church overcame legalism and the wall of tradition, it was renewed and realistically became the main figure for world missions. If the broken areas of my life are fixed, God will begin His work in me.<br><br><strong>2. The fulfillment of the Word</strong><br> While there are incorrect paths to salvation, nationalism, church politics, doctrinal conflicts and individual scars, if you recognize incorrect habits and renew yourself, the Word will start to be fulfilled. You will personally receive the same answers received by all of the leaders of faith. Jesus Christ who is promised in the Bible, God's kingdom, and the answer of the filling of the Holy Spirit, will become yours. Also, the answers that took place in Acts will become part of your life story.<br><br><strong>3. The baton of blessing</strong><br> The crippled man sitting in front of the temple gates received the blessing of God and was healed. Then, the baton of the Gospel stating that, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved"(Acts 4:12), was passed on to the Antioch Church. Also, the culture of idolatry and demons was destroyed in Macedonia, the disciples were raised for Rome evangelization, and the baton of Gospel that the evangelists Paul and Timothy held on to is now in our hands in this age. We are the remaining evangelists of this age who possess the covenant for world evangelization.<br><br><strong>[Forum Topic]</strong> The moment Peter and Paul had their broken vessels fixed, all things started anew for them.
