primer 프라이머

페인트, 시멘트 등을 바르기 전에 대상의 표면에 펴바르는 액체류의 도장재(塗裝材)이다.

도장(塗裝) 대상의 접착성을 높여 페인트 등이 잘 고정되도록 하는 역할을 하며, 추가로 부식 및 침수 등을 막는 최초의 역할을 한다. 젯소라고도 부른다.


프라이머(primer) 또는 시발체(始發體)
