필리핀 장학생들의 감사편지 입니다.

구어체로 보내온 편지라서 어느 부분은 심하게 의역을 했음을, 반복되는 내용은 생략을 했음을 양해해주시면서 읽으시면 되겠습니다. 필리핀 송금은 달러를 구매해서 송금하면 필리핀에서 페소화로 받는 과정입니다. 환율이 너무 올라서 미안한 마음을 학생들에게 표현했습니다. 함께 해주시는 교우 여러분들에게 감사드립니다.

Good afternoon, Pastor. I see, Pastor, but it's okay. The important thing is that I have an allowance to use again for my studies, no matter if this is a lot or a little. My only wish is that I can finish my studies like sister Hazelyn and novelyn. So that I can work and help my parents with their needs. And of course, first of all, I want to thank and praise our almighty God for his goodness. And thank you so much for always being understanding to me Pastor, even though I was late for sending my grade, Because of my teacher are so difficult to approach to give my grade, but now it's all done, and I am so very happy because this is the feeling again that I'm so very thankful to god. Because I passed this semester again, and I never lose faith to the lord who is always there whenever a test comes up in my studies, And of course I want to thank and praise our almighty God. Because there are you that he gave to me Pastor, and the Sandol Church that helps my studies. And like what I said before, Since I came here to college, I will do everything for my for the sake of my parents, And this scholarship from Sandol Church, Thank you so much Pastor. And I will repeat. If only they could hear the joy I feel again because of your great help Pastor, and also the Sandol Church. Thank you very much to God for the opportunity that came to me. this scholarship from Sandol Church. And I just want to say again pastor, I am not that smart, pastor but I will do everything to fulfill that i will finish my education. I can't tell how I feel right now again, pastor. Because of God's great help to me with such an amazing opportunity. But I want to say it again, pastor. Thank you very much. Pastor, I know they can't see my excitement. 안녕하세요, 목사님. 환율에 관련된 고지는 잘 알겠습니다, 하지만 괜찮아요. 중요한 것은 학업을 이어가는데 도움이 된다는 것입니다. 저의 유일한 희망은 헤이젤이나 노벨린 누나처럼 학업을 마칠 수 있다는 것입니다. 그래서 부모님의 필요에 따라 일하고 도울 수 있도록요. 그리고 물론, 전능하신 하나님의 선하심에 대해 감사합니다. 그리고 성적증명서를 늦게 보냈지만 항상 이해해 주셔서 정말 감사합니다. 목사님, 교수님의 사정 때문에 성적을 내기가 너무 어렵지만 성적표를 보냈으니 이에 다시 한 번 하나님께 감사드립니다. 시험기간이 올 때마다 항상 곁에 계신 주님을 향한 믿음을 잃지 않기 때문에, 그리고 목사님과 제 학업에 도움을 주시는 산돌교회가 있기 때문에 하나님께 감사드립니다. 그리고 제가 전에 말씀드린 것처럼, 제가 대학에서 학업을 하고 있으니 이후에 부모님을 위해 모든 것을 다 할 것입니다. 그리고 다시 한 번 말씀드리겠습니다. 산돌교회의 이 장학금이라는 저에게 찾아온 기회에 대해 하나님께 진심으로 감사드립니다. 그리고 다시 한 번 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 저는 그렇게 똑똑한 학생은 아니지만, 교육을 마칠 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다. 지금 제 기분을 표현할 수 없습니다. 목사님. 이렇게 놀라운 기회를 주신 하나님의 큰 도움 덕분입니다. 산돌교회에 감사드리며 하나님의 은총이 함께 하시기를 기도합니다.

  I am particularly grateful for the financial support provided by this scholarship, as it will significantly alleviate the financial burden of pursuing my academic goals. I am confident that, with this support, I will be able to focus on my studies and make meaningful contributions to the field.

  I am deeply thankful for the prayers, encouragement, and support from the pastors and church. Your generosity not only eases my financial burden but also strengthens my faith, reminding me of God’s provision and the importance of serving others.

Dear Sandol Methodist Church,

I am super grateful because there are all of you to support me in my school. Financial is hard for us, my dad’salart is not enough for our daily lives, so I am so grateful because I got accepted to be your scholar. School is so tough for me in the first semester. I am being bullied, got depressed, and sometimes I can't focus on my studies and sometimes I am not attending to school just because of weakness. However, right now, it got a few changes when I already have the courage to talk to my adviser about what’s happening to me in school. The bullies stayed out of my way anymore and just minding their own business. Now, I want to make up for my grades and to focus again with my studies. I took those as a motivations to rise again and to make it up for this second quarter. I apologize if my grades are not enough in the first semester, but now, I will study hard again to earn a good grades. Thank you for giving me scholarship, it helps us a lot. May the God bless you’ll always.

산돌 감리교회 귀하

저의 학업을 지원해주시는 산돌교회에 감사드립니다. 저희는 재정적으로 어려운 상황입니다. 아버지의 수입만으로는 일상생활에 충분하지 않은 상황에서 산돌교회의 장학금을 받는 것을 정말 감사하게 생각합니다. 1학기에는 학교가 너무 힘들었어요. 괴롭힘을 당해서 우울증에 시달리기도 하고, 때로는 학업에 집중할 수 없을 때도 있었고, 때로는 연약함 때문에 학교에 결석할 때도 있었습니다. 하지만 지금은 학교에서 저에게 무슨 일이 일어나고 있는지 상담자와 이야기할 용기가 생길 정도의 변화를 경험하고 있습니다. 괴롭힘은 더 이상 저를 방해하지 못합니다. 이제 성적을 만회하고 학업에 다시 집중하도록 노력하겠습니다. 싶어요. 이번 2학기에는 다시 일어설 수 있는 동기부여로 삼았습니다. 1학기에는 성적이 충분하지 않다면 송구하지만, 이제는 좋은 성적을 받기 위해 다시 열심히 공부하겠습니다. 저희 생활이 도움이 되는 장학금을 주셔서 감사합니다. 하나님의 축복이 산돌교회 위에 있기를 기도합니다..
