20260805 뒷마당 나무 가지 제거 Eliminating Branches

뒷마당에 여러 줄기의 제법 오래된 나무가 하나 있는데 (두 개 더 있었는데 지난 십여 년간의 강풍에 사라졌음.) 그 가지가 이층 창문과 옥상을 건드리는 지경에 이르렀다.

더 큰 건물 훼손을 막기 위하여 학교에 신고. (우리는 학교 관사에 살고 있음.)

오늘 아침에 직원 두 명이 와서 지붕에 닿는 가지를 정리하다보니 10여 피트는 됨직한 그 한 줄기가 갈라져 나오는 부분이 이미 8할 정도 찢어진 상태에서 자유낙하의 상황이었던 것.

결국 자유낙하를 시켜야 하는데 문제는 그 아래...

이러저런 사연으로 설치해놓은 10X20피트 천막.

그 위에 떨어지면 천막 파손... 수리하려면 엄청 골치 아픈...

결국 자유낙하를 시켰는데 그야말로 절묘하게 무해공간에 떨어져 피해 전무.

소소한 일이지만 그냥 한 번 적어봅니다.

살면서 때로는 그러려니 하고 지나가는 일들이 적지 않지만 하나님의 주권, 하나님의 보호, 하나님의 인도, 하나님의 공급은 부인할 여지가 전혀 없습니다.

There is a fairly old tree with several trunks in the backyard (there were two more, but they were gone over the past ten or so years due to strong winds), and its branches had reached the point of touching the second-floor window and the roof.

Reported to the school to prevent further damage to the main building. (We live in the school residence.)

This morning, two workers came over and were trimming the branches touching the roof, and the single trunk, which was about 10 feet tall, was already about 80% torn at the point where it split, and it was in free fall.

In the end, it has to be dropped freely, but the problem is below that...

A 10x20-foot tarp set up for all sorts of reasons.

If it falls on top of it, the tent will be damaged... It’s a huge headache if I have to fix it...

In the end, they let it free-fall, and it fell into a harmless space so perfectly that it didn’t cause any damage at all, eliminating any concern.

It maybe a minor thing, but I’m just sharing anyway.

There are many times in life when we simply let things pass by without question, but there is absolutely no room for denying God’s sovereignty, protection, guidance, and provision.
