<p style="text-align: start;">Jimbabwe and Namibia have announced plans to slaghter hunreds of wild elephants and other animals to fedd hunger stricken resident amid severe draught conditiolns in southern african countries.  </p><p style="text-align: start;">Jimbabwe says it will allow the killing of 2oo elephants  so that their meat can be distributed  amongst those  in need </p><p style="text-align: start;">In Namibia, the kiling of more than 700 wild anmals is alredy underway.</p><p style="text-align: start;">At least one hundred elephants  have died due to draught. officials said they anticipate that more anmals could die of thirst and hunger.<span style="color: #333333; background-color: #ffffff;" data-ke-size="size16">as the areas enters the </span><span> hottest period of the year.</span></p><p style="text-align: start;">I'm Lisa Dwyer</p>
