The Lotus Sutra, The Universal Gateway of the Bodhisattva Perceiver of the World's Sounds (관세음보살보문품 11)

<table id=cafe_editor_main_table_color bgColor='#e4f7ba' cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 border=0 width=100%><tr><td id=cafe_editor_main_table class=text>      11.     衆商人聞          俱發聲言          南無觀世音菩薩          稱其名故          卽得解脫          無盡意          觀世音菩薩摩訶薩          威神之力          巍巍如是      여러 장사꾼들이 듣고 함께 소리를 내어 ‘나무 관세음보살’ 하면 그 이름을 일컬은 연고로 곧 벗어나게 되느니라. 무진의여, 관세음보살마하살의 위신력이 이와 같이 높고 높으니라.      When the band of merchants hear this, they all together raise their voices, saying, 'Hail to the Bodhisattva Perceiver of the World's Sounds!' And because they call his name, they are at once able to gain deliverance. Inexhaustible Intent, the authority and supernatural power of the bodhisattva and mahasattva Perceiver of the World's Sounds are as mighty as this!                When the band of merchants hear this; 여러 장사꾼들이 듣고               they all together raise their voices; 함께 소리를 내어               Hail to the Bodhisattva Perceiver of the World's Sounds                                                            ; 나무 관세음보살               And because they call his name; 그 이름을 일컬은 연고로               at once; 곧               they are able to gain deliverance; 벗어나게 되느니라               Inexhaustible Intent; 무진의               Perceiver of the World's Sounds; 관세음               of the bodhisattva and mahasattva; 보살마하살 의               the authority and supernatural power; 위신력이               are as mighty as this; 이와 같이 높고 높으니라 </tr></td></table>
