 오늘은 질문을 한가지 드리고자 합니다. 알럽 카페를 돌다 보면, 특히나 시즌 초에 회원분들이 기대하시는 신인 들이 굉장히 많은데요, 하이라이트 필름 만 가지고 말씀하시는 건 아닐 테고.. 어떻게 NCAA 경기를 구하시는지요-? 해석을 하다 보니, 배경 지식 부족 및 관심 부족으로 NCAA부분은 거의 넘어가버리게 되는 지라 -_ - 좀 찾아 봐서 해석즘 해보려구요 -_-;;;

Oden To Be Represented By Mike Conley?

오든이 이번 드래프트에 나서지 않을 것이라는 루머를 뒷받침 하는 이야기가 있답니다. 오든이 만약 드래프트에 나서기로 선언한다면, AAU의 코치이자 전 올림픽 챔피언 마이크 콘리 가 발표할 것이라고 하는군요. 그런데 이게 왜 오든이 나서지 않을 수도 있다는 이야기의 근거가 되는 건지 잘 모르겠습니다;; 댓글로 설명해 주실 분이 있으리라 믿습니다 ㅡㅜ

There have been more rumblings that the possibility of Greg Oden not declaring for this year's draft is a legitimate one.

When Oden does decides to go pro, expect him to be represented by his AAU coach and former Olympic champion Mike Conley.

Conley also is rumored to likely represent Duke sophomore forward Josh McRoberts if he leaves school early. [READ]

Chicago Bulls star Andres Nocioni has admitted uncertainty over his contract could prevent him from playing for Argentina at this summer's Olympic qualifying tournament in Las Vegas.

A gold medal winner with the national team at the 2004 Olympics, Nocioni is a member of Argentina's golden generation along with Manu Ginobili, Fabricio Oberto and Luis Scola.

"I want to be in Las Vegas," He said. "I want to play for the national team to qualify for the (2008 Olympic) Games, but I cannot say today if I will be able." [READ]

Hawks Ink Jeremy Richardson

The Atlanta Hawks today signed Fort Worth Flyers forward Jeremy Richardson to a 10-day contract, according to Hawks’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Billy Knight. Richardson is the seventh Gatorade Call-Up from the NBA Development League this season, the second from the Flyers.

The 6-foot-7 Richardson has started 15 games this season for the Flyers, averaging 18.5 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 1.5 apg (.466 FG%, .404 3FG%, .864 FT%). He is tied for 11th in the league in scoring. Richardson was selected by the Flyers with the ninth pick of the second round in the 2006 D-League Draft. [READ]

Rebraca To Have Surgery, Done For Season

The Los Angeles Clippers today announced that center Zeljko Rebraca, based on a recommendation by back specialist Dr. Robert Wadkins, has opted to undergo a microscopic surgical procedure (discectomy) on his lower back on Tuesday, January 30th. The procedure, which will be performed by Dr. Wadkins, is designed to remove herniated disc fragments that were discovered when Rebraca was re-examined by team physician Dr. Tony Daly on January 17th.

Rebraca has been sidelined with disc-related lower back discomfort since he took his annual pre-training camp physical on September 25th. He is expected to be out the remainder of the season. [READ]

Mayo Could Be Suspended Two Games

USC signee O.J. Mayo faces a two-game suspension after being ejected from a game Friday night involving his Huntington (W.Va.) High team in which he received two technical fouls and reportedly initiated contact with an official.

Mayo received one technical foul for taunting after scoring on a breakaway dunk, then a second technical for a verbal confrontation with players from the opposing team.

Mayo reportedly followed an official to the scorer's table to dispute the call and made contact, after which the official dropped to the court.

Newspaper accounts of the contact varied, with the Huntington Herald-Dispatch reporting that Mayo bumped into the official from behind and the Charleston Gazette stating Mayo had merely "put his arm on the official's shoulder to get his attention."

Police then escorted Mayo into the locker room. [READ]
