포그는 부자였어요.

“세상은 정말 넓어!”

“The world is so big!”

“아니야, 넓지 않아!

“No, it’s not!

나는 80일 안에 세계를 돌 수 있어!”

I can go around the world in 80 days!”

포그가 내기를 걸었어요.

Fogg made a bet.

포그가 여행을 시작하였어요.

Fogg started his trip.

포그의 하인인 파스파르투도 포그와 함께 갔어요.

Passepartout, the servant, went with him.

둘은 인도로 갔어요.

They went to India.

둘은 코끼리를 탔어요.

They rode on an elephant.

포그와 파스파르투가 정글로 갔어요.

Fogg and Passepartout went to the jungle.

둘은 아우다를 만났어요.

They met Aouda.

둘이 아우다를 구해주었어요.

They saved her.

아우다는 둘과 함께 갔어요.

Aouda went with them.

“홍콩과 일본으로 가세.”

“Let’s go to Hong Kong and Japan.”

포그, 파스파르투 그리고 아우다는 배를 탔어요.

세 사람은 폭풍을 만났어요.

They met a storm.

세 사람은 홍콩에 도착하였어요.

They got to Hong Kong.

하지만 세 사람은 하루를 늦게 도착하게되었어요.

But they were one day late.

세 사람은 일본으로 가는 표를 끊었어요.

They got tickets to Japan.

그런데 배 시간표가 바뀐 거예요.

But the timetable changed.

세 사람은 떨어지고 말았어요.

They were separated.

파스파르투는 혼자였어요.

Passepartout was alone.

파스파르투는 돈이 없었어요.

He had no money.

파스파르투는 서커스에서 일을 하였어요.

He worked in a circus.

포그와 아우다도 일본에 도착하였어요.

Fogg and Aouda went to Japan.

포그와 아우다는 서커스를 보러 갔어요.

They went to see the circus.

파스파르투가 포그와 아우다를 보았어요.

Passepartout saw Fogg and Aouda.

“주인님!”

“Master!”

세 사람은 정말 기뻤어요.

They were so happy.

세 사람은 뉴욕으로 가는 기차를 탔어요.

They rode a train to New York.

“다리가 끊어질지도 몰라요!”

“The bridge may break!”

기차가 다리를 건넜어요.

The train crossed the bridge.

곧바로 다리가 무너졌어요.

The bridge broke right away.

사람들이 고함소리를 들었어요.

People heard shouting.

인디언들이었어요.

It was the Indians.

인디언들과 승객들이 싸웠어요.

The Indians and the passengers fought.

인디언들이 파스파르투를 잡아갔어요.

The Indians took Passepartout.

하지만 포그가 파스파르투를 구했어요.

However, Fogg saved him.

기차가 움직이지 않았어요.

The train didn’t move.

눈이 너무 많아서였죠.

There was too much snow.

포그는 돛을 단 썰매를 만들었어요.

Fogg made a sled with a sail.

세 사람은 뉴욕에 도착하였어요.

They arrived in New York.

세 사람은 배를 타고 영국으로 갔어요.

They rode a ship to England.

그런데 배에 연료가 모자랐어요.

But the ship was short on fuel.

포그는 나무로 만든 배를 샀어요.

Fogg bought a wooden ship.

연료로 더 쓸려고 말이에요!

This was for more fuel!

세 사람은 영국에 도착하였어요.

They got to England.

“하루가 늦어버렸네.”

“We are one day behind.”

포그는 슬펐어요.

Fogg was sad.

“걱정 마세요.”

“Don’t worry.”

아우다가 포그를 달랬어요.

Aouda cheered him up.

“아니에요, 오늘이 바로 약속한 그 날이에요!”

“No, today is the day!”

파스파르투가 소리쳤어요.

Shouted Passepartout.

포그가 계산을 잘못한 거였어요.

Fogg miscounted.

포그와 아우다는 결혼을 하였어요.

Fogg and Aouda got married.

포그는 마음씨 따뜻한 사람이 되었답니다.

He became a warm-hearted man.

저는좀 바뻤어요.

이웃이 이시갈때 버리고간 고양이가 나를 간택하여 나가라 안나가 하고 실강이. 한지 2년 째요.
결국 안나가니 함께하게 되었어요.ㅠㅠ
동물은 더 이상...
끝이라고 했는데 ..
그게 맘데로 안되는거 같아요.
이제 내 꼬리처럼 날 따라다녀요.
