Russia has lauched new strikes on Ukrainean city of Kharkiv  leaving well ove a dozen people wounded in the  second consecutive night time attack.

The bombs hit high rise  apartment buildings in the North Ukraine's second largest city. 

The attack on  Kharkiv came a day after earlier  Russian strikes that also wounded over a dozen people. 

Ukraine officials said that KAB type aerial glide bombs, retrofitted Soviet weapon that has for months laid waste to Eastern Ukraine were used in both attacks.

Harkeave have been a frequent target of Russian attacks since the war began in February, 2022.
