『I'll Walk Alone』은 1944년 미국의 여성 재즈 보컬

「Dinah Shore」(1916~1994)가 발표한 곡으로

빌 보드 차트 1위, R&B 차트 10위 등을 기록하였으며,

1952년에는 'Don Cornell'(1919~2004)이 '커버'하여

빌 보드 차트 5위에 오르는 인기를 얻었습니다.

가사는 "전쟁 통에 당신과는 멀리 떨어져 있지만,

다시 만날 때까지 씩씩하게 혼자 걷기를 바란다"는

내용입니다.

또한 『I'll Walk Alone』은 연주곡으로 여러 버젼이

있는데, 'Charlie Parker', 'Benny Golson', 'Louis

Prima' 등을 위시 하여 특히 1959년「Sil Austin」이

연주한 버젼이 잘 알려져 있습니다.
