Topic 1. Reasons to get married
Are you wondering if you really ever have to get married? If you’re not ready to get married with someone, you’re probably not ready for marriage just yet. It’s that simple really. Almost always, if you’re not ready for marriage, it’s because you haven’t found the right partner yet, you don’t have a secure job, you don’t think you have enough money, or you like your life just the way it is. If you’re in a long term relationship already or are wondering how you can evade the big noose around your neck called a marriage, here are some reasons to get married that you should consider.
▷ Marriage makes you live longer
When you’re ready, you’re ready. It’s as simple as that. These some reasons to get married may not make sense to you if you’ve made up your mind to stay single. But if you can gives these reasons to get married a serious thought with an open mind, you’ll understand just how meaningful and satisfying a happy marriage can really be and how easily it can change your life and a special someone’s life for the better forever.
▷ Marriage increases your earning power
You know that big-screen TV you’ve been saving for? Well, if you were married, you’d probably own it by now. Being married means sharing expenses and splitting the costs of major purchases. You cynics out there gripe about the money women cost you, but the money you’d spend on dinner dates and the occasional gift is dwarfed by the prospect of having an extra income in the household. Marriage means you can afford the things you could never afford on your own; it means a better home, a better car, a better vacation, and cooler stuff.
▷ Marriage prevents you from dying alone
Sure, you’re on a hot streak right now, dating 20-year-old yoga instructors and baristas, but we both know that's not going to last forever. How’s being single going to work out for you when you’re 60, when you have hair in all of the wrong places and no one can stand to look at you? Marriage is an investment in your future. Sure, you sacrifice some of your sweet single years, but in exchange you get to make a long-term investment in one person, building a deep, abiding love that has the potential to last a lifetime.
▷ Marriage makes you more attractive
As our own Justin Prugh covered in his article, Why Do Single Women Like Taken Men, married men are more attractive to other women. Now, we’re not suggesting that you should get married purely because it will make it easier to score with other women, but we are suggesting that marriage makes you appealing to the opposite sex. Getting attention from beautiful women feels good; it’s a confidence booster. Plus, when you go out with all of your single buddies, all of the hot women will be hitting on you. Who’s laughing now?

- Let’s talk about both merits and demerits of marriage.
2. What do you think of the best age for getting married-for men? for women? Why do you think so?
3. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of remaining single and getting married for men and women. Are there any differences? Tell your opinion.
4. I’ve met some people who get married without love. in your case, is it possible? if not, what is your ideal marriage? Let’s talk about that.
5. If you were in a bad marriage, would you rather stay in the marriage or get a divorce? Why?
Topic2. How to be lazy and enjoy it
Sometimes you just need a lazy day, a day to relax and lay around(빈둥거리다)without a care in the world. But most of us are conditioned to constantly run: clean the house, pay bills, take ourkids to afterschool activities... etc. Once in a while, you just need to take a deep breath and not care that responsibilities are calling.
Take time to stop and listen to the world around you. We, as a society, are used to rushing places to get things done. We hardly ever take the time to relax and enjoy the sights and smells of the world. Try turning off the music in your car and rolling the window down. Listen to the wind rushing by as your on the highway. Stand on your back porch(현관) and hear the sounds of your neighborhood. You'll be amazed by what is going on while you haven't been paying attention.
Let the bills and errands(심부름)go for one day.(하루를 보내다) Decide that the house doesn't need cleaned and the grocery shopping can wait. Lay on your couch with a fuzzy(솜털있는)blanket and watch TV all night. Try this on a weekend and take the whole day. Only get up for drinks or food. Just be at peace and lay around in your pajamas. If you have kids and find this task to be difficult, ask your partner to trade off(균형을 유지하다)half the day. The first half can be yours and the second half can be his. Or trade off whole days. Just find a way to do absolutely nothing.
Order takeout and don't cook for a night. Let someone else bring your meal to you. Decide what you wantto eat and order for delivery. Sure, it isn't as healthy as you may like, but it is much easier than planning and making a whole meal for everyone. Plus, there will be no dishes to do!
Avoid the phone and door. Don't answer for one night. Enjoy the peace and quiet and let your voice mail take messages. Close the curtains, turn off the lights, (except the TV,) and don't answer the door if someone comes knocking. Just pretend for one day, or night, that you don't exist. Tomorrow you can deal with(배운 표현이죠?ㅎ) what needs to be done.
Take a bath and don't get ready. Or... even better... don't bother bathing. Yes, it may sound gross(역겨운), but some of the best lazy days are when you wake up, spend the day in your lounge clothes, and don't get off the couch even to shower. One day won't hurt you. You're not going to see anybody anyway. So just relax and shower tomorrow.
