He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves."It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'“*구약시대는 짐승으로 제사를 드렸기 때문에 먼 곳에서 성전으로 오는 사람들은 짐승을 데리고오는 것이 매우 번거러운 일이었다. 그래서 그들은 성전 근처에 있는 시장이나 마을에서 양이나 비둘기를 구입해 제단에 바쳤던 것이다. 이렇게 하는 것은 가능한 일이었다.그러나 이런 습관들이 점점 발전하여, 나중에는 상인들이 더 쉽게 물건을 팔기 위해 성전 뜰 안에 들어와서 짐승들을 팔았던 것이다, 이런 행위는 한계를 넘어간 잘못된 행위다.그런 잘못된 행위들이 하나님의 거룩한 성전을 더럽게 하였고 세속화 시켰다. 그래서 주님께서 화가나셨고 채찍을 만들어서, 짐승들과 돈 바꾸는 자들을 성전에서 밖으로 쫓아내신 것이다.그때 성전은 오늘날 교회이다. 이곳은 만민이 기도하는 하나님의 집이다, 거룩한 곳에서 물건을 매매하고 돈을 버는 행위는 교회를 세속화 시키는 것이다.오늘날 남선교회 혹은 여선교회 주최하여 바자회를 열고, 교회 안에서 물건들을 팔고, 그 이익금을 교회에 바치며 헌신예배를 드립니다.그러나 이런 행위는 주님의 뜻에 크게 어긋나는 것이다.오늘날 교회에서 물건을 파는 것은 그 때 성전에서 속죄 제물로 드리기 위해 짐승을 사고 팔았던 행위와 다르지 않다. 신구약의 이런 행위들은 결국 맥락이 같은 죄이다.교회에서 물건을 파는 행위는 교회의 존재 목적을 흐리게 만들고 더럽게 하는 것이다.예수님은 자신의 몸을 성전이라고 하셨다. 예수님의 몸 안에 하나님이 계시기 때문이다. 즉 예수님의 영이 여호와 하나님인 것입니다.오늘날 예수님은 성령으로 오셔서 성전 안에 계시고, 백성들에게 말씀을 가르치고, 우리에게 기도하고 회개를 이루게 하십니다. 이런 거룩한 곳에서 물건을 사고 파는 행위를 하지 말라. 장사꾼들은 많은 사람이 모이는 곳에서 물건 팔기를 원한다.그들은 물건을 팔고 그 이익금의 일부를 교회에 바치고 있다. 그들이 바치는 헌금에 매력을 느끼지 말라.돈 때문에 주님이 싫어하는 불법을 허락하지 말라. 주님의 몸 된 성전을 돈을 받기 위해 더럽히지 않아야 한다.돈에 눈이 멀어 주님이 싫어하는 행위를 하는 것은 주님의 마음을 심히 아프게 만드는 것이다.하나님이 세상과 인간을 창조하신 목적은 인간들로부터 영광을 받으시기 위한 것입니다. 현재 이를 이루시는 방법이 무엇인가? 우리가 성전에서 하나님의 말씀을 배우고, 그 하나님의 뜻을 우리의 생활 가운데 실천하는 것이다. 그러나 우이게게 부족함이 많다, 그래서 우리의 부족함과 불순종을 회개하고 주님의 용서를 받아야 한다.그런 곳이 바로 하나님의 성전이다. 이 성전에 하나님이 임재하시고, 하나님의 자녀들이 언제든지 찾아와서,하나님과 대화를 나누는 곳이다. 이 거룩한 주님의 집에 인간들의 욕심으로 채워놓는 것은 영적으로 심히 타락하는 것이다..In the Old Testament era, animals were used as sacrifices, so it was very inconvenient for people coming from far away to bring animals to the temple. So they bought sheep or doves from the market or village near the temple and offered them on the altar. This was possible.However, these habits gradually developed, and later, merchants came into the temple courtyard to sell animals in order to sell their goods more easily. This was a wrong act that went beyond the limit.Such wrong acts defiled and secularized the holy temple of God.So the Lord became angry, made a whip, and drove the animals and money changers out of the temple.The temple at that time is today's church. This is the house of God where all people pray. Buying and selling goods and making money in a holy place secularizes the church.Today, men's or women's missionary societies host bazaars, sell goods in the church, donate the profits to the church, and hold a service of dedication. However, this act is greatly against the will of the Lord.Selling things in the church today is no different from the act of buying and selling animals to offer as sin offerings in the temple at that time.These acts in the Old and New Testaments are ultimately sins with the same context.Selling things in the church obscures and defiles the purpose of the church’s existence.----------------Jesus called his body a temple. This is because God is in Jesus’ body. In other words, Jesus’ spirit is Jehovah God.Today, Jesus has come as the Holy Spirit and is in the temple, teaching the people the word, and making us pray and repent.Do not buy and sell things in such a holy place. Merchants want to sell things in places where many people gather.They sell things and donate part of the profits to the church. Do not be attracted to the offerings they give.Do not allow the lawlessness that the Lord hates for money.Do not defile the temple, which is the Lord’s body, in order to receive money.Being blinded by money and doing things that the Lord hates is deeply hurting the Lord's heart.The purpose of God's creation of the world and humans is to receive glory from humans.What is the current way to achieve this?We learn God's words in the temple and practice God's will in our lives.However, we have many shortcomings, so we must repent of our shortcomings and disobedience and receive forgiveness from the Lord.That place is the temple of God. This temple is where God is present, and it is a place where God's children can come and talk to God at any time.To fill this holy house of the Lord with human greed is a serious spiritual corruption.
