7. Daniel 9:27 – One seven: Antichrist – Covenant for 7 years, End to sacrifice and offering, Set up an abomination

7-1. Last restoration of Temple of Jerusalem, Sacrifices and offerings back to God the Father

<Daniel> 9:27 - 그가 장차 많은 사람으로 더불어 한 이레 동안의 언약을 굳게 정하겠고 그가 그 이레의 절반에 제사와 예물을 금지할 것이며 또 잔포하여 미운 물건이 날개를 의지하여 설 것이며 또 이미 정한 종말까지 진노가 황폐케 하는 자에게 쏟아지리라 하였느니라(He will confirm‎ a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."(NIV); And he shall confirm‎ the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.(KJV); The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven(1), but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds(2), he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration(3), until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him." / (1)Hebrew for one seven. (2)Hebrew And on the wing of abominations; the meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain. (3)Hebrew an abomination of desolation.(New Living); That ruler will have a firm agreement with many people for seven years, and when half this time is past, he will put an end to sacrifices and offerings. The Awful Horror will be placed on the highest point of the Temple and will remain there until the one who put it there meets the end which God has prepared for him."(Good News)

In <Daniel> 9:27, it is clear that the now completely destroyed the City and Temple of Jerusalem since AD 70 must be restored so that the Antichrist can set up an abomination that causes desolation, that is, the blasphemy image, in the Temple of Jerusalem.

This can be inferred from <Revelation> 11:1, where it is recorded that the apostle John was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there….”(NIV). It means that, in the long distant future, the present destroyed Temple of Jerusalem will be restored and rebuilt to offer sacrifices and offerings to God the Father again.

<Revelation> 11:1 - 또 내게 지팡이 같은 갈대를 주며 말하기를 일어나서 하나님의 성전과 제단과 그 안에서 경배하는 자들을 척량하되(I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there.(NIV); And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.(KJV); Then I was given a measuring stick, and I was told, "Go and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers.(New Living)

It must be understood that history repeats itself. I believe that the Temple of Jerusalem will continue to rise and fall until the end, just as the 1st~3rd Temple of Jerusalem in the past. And the Temple of Jerusalem written in <Revelation> 11:1 will be expected to be the last one. As I will explain later more in detail, but the last real Temple of Jerusalem will be from c.AD 10,729.5 to c.AD 10,733 for 42  months as 3.5 years, and then the Antichrists will take it over from c.AD 10,733~10,736.5 for 42 months. Here, ‘real’ means ‘by holy people or holy saints’.
