15. 서울에서 법을 펼치다

서울에서 무비스님의 강의가 활발하게 부활되었다.

무비스님은 2007년 1월부터 서울 미타사에서 승랍이 15년 이상 된 스님들의 공부모임인

<경전연구회> 스님들에게 한 달에 한 번씩 『임제록』을 강의했다.

이때 공부했던 70여 명의 비구, 비구니스님 중에 뜻이 맞는 분들이 부산에서도 경전연구회를 결성하고 공부를 이어가자고 하여서 <문수경전연구회>가 탄생했다.

문수경전연구회는 2008년 1월부터 매달 한 번씩 문수선원에 모여서 『법화경』을 공부했고, 2009년 5월부터는 『임제록』을 공부하였다. 그리고 2010년 3월부터는 『화엄경』을 공부하게 되었다.

그러는 한편, 서울에서는 계속하여 무비스님의 법회가 열렸다

15. Spreading the Dharma in Seoul

Mubi Seunim’s lectures in Seoul were actively revived.

Starting in January 2007, Mubi Seunim taught the “The Record of Linji ” once a month at Mita Temple in Seoul. He taught the [Sutra Study Group], which consisted of monks with more than 15 years of experience.

Among the 70 monks and nuns who studied there, some shared the same vision. They wanted to continue their studies in Busan, so they started the [Munsu Sutra Study Group].

The Munsu Sutra Study Group met once a month at Munsu Seonwon. They studied the “Lotus Sutra” from January 2008, and then began studying the “ The Record of Linji “ in May 2009. And starting in March 2010, they began studying the “Avatamsaka Sutra”.

Meanwhile, Mubi Seunim continued to hold Dharma talks in Seoul.
