전시제목: 장현주 – 절정의 기척 A Sign of Culmination전시기간: 2025년7월1일(화)-7월13일(일)전시장소: 갤러리 담03060 서울시 종로구 윤보선길 72 (안국동 7-1)Tel: 02-738-2745 E-mail: gallerydam@naver.com www.gallerydam.comGallery hour: mon-sat noon-6pm sun noon-5pm전시내용7월을 맞이하여 갤러리담에서는 장현주 작가의 개인전 《절정의 기척》을 기획하였다.이번 전시는 '꽃이 피기 전' 감춰진 생명의 기운을 다룬다. 작가는 화려한 개화의 순간이 아닌, 그 이전의 준비와 기다림, 보이지 않는 변화의 '기척'에 주목한다.전시 제목 '절정의 기척'은 여행중에 마주친 춘포리 빈집에서 벽지 꽃무늬가 오후 햇살을 받아 되살아나는 모습에서 영감을 얻었다. 알뿌리가 제 몸의 절정을 감춘 채 살아가듯, 드러나지 않은 생명력과 그 전조를 화폭에 담았다.전시작들은 생명 현상의 미시적 구조를 추상적 형태로 표현한다. 녹색 바탕 위 겹겹이 쌓인 원형들은 세포나 씨앗의 내부 에너지를, 어두운 화면 위 유기체적 선묘는 보이지 않는 생명체의 움직임을 시각화한다."봄은 기척이 가득한 계절이다. 꽃이 피기 전, 바람이 부는 방향이 달라지고 흙이 숨을 쉬는 순간들. 아무 일도 일어나지 않은 듯 보이지만 그 무언 속에는 거대한 움직임이 감춰져 있다." -
