성경말씀: 민수기 20장

오늘 말씀은 광야의 이스라엘 민족처럼, 하나님께서 동행하며 보호하고 가르치며 인도하고 공급하시는 임마누엘 은혜와 사랑을 받을지라도, “첫째 달에 이스라엘 자손 온 회중이 신 광야 가데스에 머물더니 미리암이 죽으매 거기에 장사되니라. 회중이 물이 없으므로 모세와 아론에게로 모여드니라. 백성이 모세와 다투어 말하여 이르되 우리 형제들이 여호와 앞에서 죽을 때에 우리도 죽었더라면 좋을 뻔하였도다. 너희가 어찌하여 여호와의 회중을 이 광야로 인도하여 우리와 우리 짐승이 다 여기서 죽게 하느냐, 너희가 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 나오게 하여 이 나쁜 곳으로 인도하였느냐 이 곳에는 파종할 곳이 없고 무화과도 없고 포도도 없고 석류도 없고 마실 물도 없도다(20:1-5)” 하였듯, 고난으로 인도하며 연단하시는 하나님의 뜻을 알지 못하고 불평하고 원망하는 죄에 빠질 수 있습니다.

Anyone who will be fall into sin of complaining and resenting to God, if he does not properly understanding the will of God who trains through suffering, if he experienced even a little bit of hardship and difficulty lives, even he had been graced, loved and blessed of Immanuel, in which God accompanies, protects, teaches, guides, uses and accomplishes to him, as “In the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried. Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. They quarreled with Moses and said, ‘If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the Lord. Why did you bring the Lord’s community into this desert, that we and our livestock should die here? Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink (20:1-5)”

그런 사람들의 불평과 원망을 들은 모세와 아론이 해결할 길이 없어 답답하고 아득한 마음으로 회중을 떠나 하나님의 앞에 엎드렸을 때, “여호와의 영광이 그들에게 나타나며, 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, 지팡이를 가지고 네 형 아론과 함께 회중을 모으고 그들의 목전에서 너희는 반석에게 명령하여 물을 내라 하라 네가 그 반석이 물을 내게 하여 회중과 그들의 짐승에게 마시게 할지니라(20:6-8)” 하셨듯, 하나님께서 듣고 응답하시며 해결하시지만, “고기가 아직 이 사이에 있어 씹히기 전에 여호와께서 백성에게 대하여 진노하사 심히 큰 재앙으로 치셨듯(11:33)” 멸망의 심판을 받고 그리스도의 대속과 구원을 얻지 못하는 것이, 순종하는 믿음 안에서 저지른 죄만 용서하고 구원하는 그리스도의 대속이기 때문입니다.

Even though, God surely be heard, answered and resolved along the such people’s complaints and grievances causes of his name, as “Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them. The Lord said to Moses, Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink (20:6-8)” But, the Lord surely be punishes them to destroyed and dejected them from the redemption and the salvation in Christ Jesus, as “While the meat was still between their teeth and before it could be consumed, the anger of the Lord burned against the people, and he struck them with a severe plague (11:33)” Because, God will be grated to forgiveness sins in Christ Jesus who have been obeying faith until his death only.

그런데 하나님의 명을 받은 “모세가 그 명령대로 여호와 앞에서 지팡이를 잡으니라. 모세와 아론이 회중을 그 반석 앞에 모으고 모세가 그들에게 이르되 반역한 너희여 들으라 우리가 너희를 위하여 이 반석에서 물을 내랴 하고, 모세가 그의 손을 들어 그의 지팡이로 반석을 두 번 치니 물이 많이 솟아나오므로 회중과 그들의 짐승이 마셨듯(20:9-11)” 하나님의 말씀을 따라 순종하며 반석에서 물이 솟아나게 했고 백성들이 마시게 했지만, “우리가 너희를 위하여 이 반석에서 물을 내랴(20:10)” 하며 하나님의 이름으로 행하지 않고, 마치 자신의 능력처럼 외치며 물이 솟아나게 했습니다.

However, so many Christians are fall into sins unintentionally, even though he will follow and obey God’s commands, as “So, Moses took the staff from the Lord’s presence, just as he commanded him. He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front to the rock and Moses said to them, ‘Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock? Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank (20:9-11)” Because, he lost his careful hearts, like as Moses was fallen to sin of intercepting God’s glory by his words as “Shall we bring water for you out of this rock(20:10)”.

그래서, “여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되 너희가 나를 믿지 아니하고 이스라엘 자손의 목전에서 내 거룩함을 나타내지 아니한 고로 너희는 이 회중을 내가 그들에게 준 땅으로 인도하여 들이지 못하리라 하시니라. 이스라엘 자손이 여호와와 다투었으므로 이를 므리바 물이라 하니라 여호와께서 그들 중에서 그 거룩함을 나타내셨듯(20:12-13)” 믿지 않았다 책망을 받았고 약속의 땅에 들어가지 못하는 저주를 받았으며, 40년 헌신과 충성이 헛수고가 되었듯, 항상 신중하게 생각하고 조심하며 행동하지 않으면, 하나님 말씀에 순종하는 행위도 죄가 될 수 있고 멸망의 심판을 받을 증거가 되는데, 사람들은 그리스도의 십자가 보혈의 공로로 모든 죄를 대속 받았다는 그릇된 사람의 교훈을 믿고 거짓된 확신에 빠지며 맡기지 못하고 순종하지 않으며 거역하는 죄에 빠지면서 깨닫지 못하는 것이 문제입니다.

So, Moses was rebuked for not believing God’s words, and cursed to no enter the promised land and making his 40years of dedication in vain, as “The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, ‘Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them. These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the Lord and where he showed himself holy among them (20:12-13)” Therefore, if you do not think carefully and act cautiously in everything, even the act of obedience become sin and will be judged to destruction. However, many peoples are deceived by the teachings of the men, who says that they have already redeemed by the merits of the blood of Christ on the Cross, and fall into false confidence, and do not realize it while falling into sin of rebellion, not entrusting to God or obeying him.

모세가 그런 저주를 받았으면서도 사는 날까지 맡은 사명에 충성하려고 “가데스에서 에돔 왕에게 사신을 보내며 이르되 당신의 형제 이스라엘의 말에 우리가 당한 모든 고난을 당신도 아시거니와, 우리 조상들이 애굽으로 내려갔으므로 우리가 애굽에 오래 거주하였더니 애굽인이 우리 조상들과 우리를 학대하였으므로, 우리가 여호와께 부르짖었더니 우리 소리를 들으시고 천사를 보내사 우리를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨나이다 이제 우리가 당신의 변방 모퉁이 한 성읍 가데스에 있사오니, 청하건대 우리에게 당신의 땅을 지나가게 하소서 우리가 밭으로나 포도원으로 지나가지 아니하고 우물물도 마시지 아니하고 왕의 큰길로만 지나가고 당신의 지경에서 나가기까지 왼쪽으로나 오른쪽으로나 치우치지 아니하리이다 한다고 하라 하였듯(20:14-17)” 이삭의 큰아들이요 야곱의 형 에서의 후손이며 동족이고 형제이므로 선의로 맞이하고 통과시켜 주기를 바라며 겸손하게 간청했습니다.

Despite such a cursed Moses remained faithful to his mission until his death, humbly requesting the Edomites, descendants of Esau, who were his own people and brothers, to welcome them with kindness and allow to pass through, as “Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, saying: ‘This is what your brother Israel says: You know about all the hardships that have come upon us. Our forefathers went down into Egypt, and we lived there many years. The Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers, but when we cried out to the Lord, he heard our cry and sent and angel and brought us out of Egypt. ‘Now we are here at Kadesh, a town on the edge of your territory. Please let us pass through your country. We will not go through any field or vineyard, or drink water from any well. We will travel along the king’s highway and not turn to the right or to the left until we have passed through your territory (20:14-17)”

그렇지만 순종하지 않는 자와 동행하거나 역사하지 않는 하나님의 섭리에 따라, 에돔 왕이 반대하며 막았으므로, “에돔 왕이 대답하되 너는 우리 가운데로 지나가지 못하리라 내가 칼을 들고 나아가 너를 대적할까 하노라. 이스라엘 자손이 이르되 우리가 큰길로만 지나가겠고 우리나 우리 짐승이 당신의 물을 마시면 그 값을 낼 것이라 우리가 도보로 지나갈 뿐인즉 아무 일도 없으리이다 하나, 그는 이르되 너는 지나가지 못하리라 하고 에돔 왕이 많은 백성을 거느리고 나와서 강한 손으로 막으니, 에돔 왕이 이같이 이스라엘이 그의 영토로 지나감을 용납하지 아니하므로(20:18-21)” 이스라엘이 맞서 싸우며 지나 갈수도 없었고 쓸쓸하게 돌아서야 했고, “이스라엘 자손 온 회중이 가데스를 떠나 호르 산에 이르렀더니, 여호와께서 에돔 땅 변경 호르 산에서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하시니라 이르시되, 아론은 조상들에게로 돌아가고 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 준 땅에는 들어가지 못하리니 이는 너희가 므리바 물에서 내 말을 거역한 까닭이니라(20:22-24)” 하였듯, 좋은 길로 가지 못하고 에돔 국경을 침범하지 않게 험난한 길로 돌아가야 했습니다.

However, the king of Edom opposed and blocked them, as “Edom answered: You may not pass through here; if you try, we will march out and attack you with the sword. The Israelites replied: ‘We will go along the main road, and if we or our livestock drink any want to pass through on foot-nothing else. Again, they answered: You may not pass through. Then Edom came out against them with a large and powerful army. Since Edom refused to let them go through their territory, Israel turned away from them (20:18-21)” Because of God’s providence, who does not accompany or works with those who disobeying him. So, the Israelites had to go back outside the roadless birder of Edom, as “The whole Israelite community set out from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor. At Mount Hor, near the border of Edom, the Lord said enter the land I give the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah (20:22-24)”

그런데, “너는 아론과 그의 아들 엘르아살을 데리고 호르 산에 올라, 아론의 옷을 벗겨 그의 아들 엘르아살에게 입히라 아론은 거기서 죽어 그 조상에게로 돌아가리라. 모세가 여호와의 명령을 따라 그들과 함께 회중의 목전에서 호르 산에 오르니라. 모세가 아론의 옷을 벗겨 그의 아들 엘르아살에게 입히매 아론이 그 산 꼭대기에서 죽으니라. 모세와 엘르아살이 산에서 내려오니, 온 회중 곧 이스라엘 온 족속이 아론이 죽은 것을 보고 그를 위하여 삼십 일 동안 애곡하였듯(20:25-29)” 순종한다고 했던 일이 열화를 참지 못한 단 한마디가 하나님의 영광을 가로채며 하나님의 뜻에 거역한 죄가 되어 아론이 먼저 죽는 심판을 받았고, “내가 네 눈으로 보게 하였거니와 너는 그리로 들어가지 못하리라(신34:4)” 하셨듯, 모세도 요단강을 앞에 두고 건너가지 못하는 벌을 받았으므로, 순종하는 행위도 죄가 될 수 있다는 사실을 잊지 말고, 하나님의 뜻에 겸손하게 자신을 맡기고 철저하게 따라 지키며 순종해야 대속과 구원 얻습니다. 여러분 모두 그런 올바른 믿음으로 구원 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

Besides, the Aaron was judged to death, as obeying God’s word became a sin of disobeying God and stealing His glory, because of only one word of them, that they could not tolerate the people’s complaints and grumbling, as “Get Aaron and his son Eleazar and take them up Mount Hor. Remove Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar, for Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will die there. Moses did as the Lord commanded: They went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community. Moses removed Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar. And Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain, and when the whole community learned that Aaron had died, the entire house of Israel mourned for him thirty days (20:25-29)” And, was also punished by being killed and unable to cross the Jordan River, as “I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it (Deuteronomy34:4)” Therefore, do not forget that an act of obedience can become a sin of rebellion, and you must submit yourself to God’s will and follow it thoroughly and humbly, and obey it, in order to obtain redemption and salvation. I hopefully pray for you to my God, you should be like as right and correctness faith in Christ Jesus all. Amen.
