성경말씀: 민수기 30~31장

하나님께서 모세를 통해 이스라엘 자손에게 “여호와께 결심하고 서약하였으면 깨뜨리지 말고 말한 대로 다 이행하라. 어린 여자가 아버지 집에서 스스로 결심하고 여호와께 서원하였고, 서원이나 결심한 서약을 듣고도 아버지가 말이 없으면 지키고, 아버지가 듣는 날에 허락하지 아니하면 그의 서원과 결심한 서약을 이루지 못하리니 아버지가 허락하지 아니하였으니 여호와께서 사하시리라. 남편을 맞을 때에 경솔하게 결심한 서원이나 서약을 하였고, 남편이 듣는 날에 아무 말이 없으면 지키고, 남편이 듣는 날에 허락하지 아니하면 경솔하게 결심하고 서원한 서약은 무효가 되므로 여호와께서 사하시리라. 과부나 이혼당한 여자가 결심하고 서원한 것은 지키라. 부녀가 남편의 집에서 결심하고 서원이나 서약하였고, 남편이 듣고 말이 없고 금하지 않으면 지킬 것이나, 남편이 듣는 날에 무효시키면 이루지 못하므로 여호와께서 사하시리라. 모든 서원과 마음을 자제하기로 한 서약은 남편이 지키게 하거나 무효시킬 수 있으니, 남편이 여러 날이 지나도록 말이 없으면 아내의 서원과 스스로 결심한 일을 지키게 하는 것이니, 남편이 들은 지 얼마 후에 무효하게 하면 그가 아내의 죄를 담당하리라(30:2-15)” 하셨는데, 마음으로 결심하고 서원이나 언약을 맺고 지키지 않으면 심판을 받지만, 육신의 열정에 속지 않고 무산시킬 권한을 자유의지와 양심에 주셨으니, 즉시 무산시키거나 반드시 지키든지 하라는 뜻이다.

Beloved Christians, if you make a resolution, covenant, or vow to God causes deceived by the passion of the flesh that stimulated a grateful heart after receiving God’s grace and love through faith in Jesus, you must keep it faithfully, because, if you do not keep it, you will be condemned. But, if you cancel it immediately when you realize it, you will not be condemned, because, since God gave you the free-will to not be deceived by the passion of your flesh and to break it, as “When a man makes a vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said. When a young woman still living in her father’s house makes a vow to the Lord or obligates herself by a pledge, and her father hears about her vow or pledge by says nothing to her, then all her obligated herself will stand. But if her father forbids her when he hears about it, none of her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand; the Lord will release her because her father has forbidden her. If she marries after she makes a vow or after her lips utter a rash promise by which she obligates herself, and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her, then her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. But if her husband forbids her when he hears about it, he nullifies the vow that obligates her or the rash promise by which she obligates herself, and the Lord will release her. Any vow or obligation taken by a widow or divorced woman will be binding on her. If a woman living with her husband makes a vow or obligates herself by a pledge under oath, and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her and does not forbid her, then all her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. But if her husband nullifies them when he hears about them, then none of the vows or pledges that came from her lips will stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the Lord will release her. Her husband may confirm‎ or nullify any vow she makes or any sworn pledge to deny herself. But if her husband says nothing to her about it from day to day, then he confirm‎s all her vows or the pledges binding on her. He confirm‎s them by saying nothing to her when he hears about them. If, however, he nullifies them some time after he hears about them, then he is responsible for her guilt (30:2-15)”

왜냐하면, “여호와께서 모세에게, 이스라엘 자손의 원수를 미디안에게 갚으라 그 후에 네가 조상에게로 돌아가리라(31:1-2)” 하신 말씀에 순종하여 모세가 이스라엘 백성들에게 전하고 각 지파에서 1,000명씩 12,000명을 선발하여 보냈을 때, “그들이 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 미디안을 쳐서 남자를 다 죽였고, 미디안의 다섯 왕을 죽였으니 미디안의 왕들은 에위와 레겜과 수르와 후르와 레바이며 브올의 아들 발람을 칼로 죽였더라. 이스라엘 자손이 미디안의 부녀들과 아이들을 사로잡고 가축과 양 떼와 재물을 다 탈취하고, 성읍들과 촌락을 다 불사르고, 탈취한 것, 노략한 것, 사람과 짐승을 다 빼앗았더라. 그들이 사로잡은 자와 노략한 것과 탈취한 것을 가지고 여리고 맞은편 모압 평지의 진영에 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 이스라엘 자손의 회중에게 나아왔듯(31:7-12)” 하나님은 신실하게 순종하고 지켜야만 사용하고 이루시기 때문입니다.

Because, when Moses obeyed God’s Word, as “The Lord said to Moses, ‘Take vengeance on the Midianites for the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people (31:1-2)” And, he sent out to the against of the Midianites 12,000 men only, 1,000 from each tribe, but they were killed all the Midianites men and plundered so much things, as “They fought against Midian, as the Lord commanded Moses, and killed every man. Among their victims were Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba-the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. The Israelites captured the Midianite women and children and took all the Midianite herds, flocks and goods as plunder. They burned all the towns where the Midianites had settled, as well as all their camps. They took all the plunder and spoils, including the people and animals, and brought the captives, spoils and plunder to Moses and Eleazar the priest and the Israelite assembly at their camp on the plains of Moab, by the Jordan across from Jericho (31:7-12)” Because, for God Almighty was worked with them to prosperity according to their humbly obeying faith.

왜냐하면 “모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 회중의 지도자들이 다 진영 밖에 나가서 영접하다가, 모세가 싸움에서 돌아온 천부장들과 백부장들에게 노하니라. 모세가 그들에게 너희가 여자들을 다 살려두었느냐. 이들이 발람의 꾀를 따라 이스라엘 자손을 브올의 사건에서 여호와 앞에 범죄하게 하여 여호와의 회중 가운데에 염병이 일어나게 하였으므로, 아이들 중에서 남자는 다 죽이고 남자와 동침하여 사내를 아는 여자도 다 죽이고, 남자와 동침하지 아니하여 사내를 알지 못하는 여자들은 다 너희를 위하여 살려두라(31:13-18)” 하였듯, 사람은 열정적으로 순종하기도 하지만, 반드시 죽이고 멸해야 할 것을 살려 두고 차지하려는 욕심에 너무 쉽게 속기 때문입니다.

Because, even if, a person is eagerly to obey, but he is too easily deceived by his desire to keep alive and possess what must be killed and destroyed, as “Moses, Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp. Moses was angry with the officers of the army-the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds-who returned from the battle. Have you allowed all the women to live? He asked them. They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the Lord in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man (31:13-18)”

그러므로, “너희는 이레 동안 진영 밖에 주둔하라 살인자나 죽임을 당한 사체를 만진 자는 셋째 날과 일곱째 날에 몸을 깨끗하게 하고 포로도 깨끗하게 할 것이며, 의복과 가죽으로 만든 것과 염소털로 만든 것과 나무로 만든 모든 것을 다 깨끗하게 할지니라. 제사장 엘르아살이 싸움에 나갔던 군인들에게 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 율법이니라. 금, 은, 동, 철과 주석과 납 등의, 불에 견딜 만한 모든 물건은 불을 지나게 하면 깨끗하려니와 정결하게 하는 물로 깨끗하게 할 것이며 불에 견디지 못할 모든 것은 물을 지나게 할 것이니라. 일곱째 날에 옷을 빨아서 깨끗하게 한 후에 진영에 들어올지니라(31:19-24)” 하였듯, 말씀과 성령의 가르침을 따라 지키며 순종해야 실수를 용서받고 다시 회복시키는 은혜를 얻습니다.

Therefore, everyone must follow and obey the Word of God and the teachings of the Holy Spirit, then he will received grace of forgiveness and restoration even if we make mistakes, as “All of you who have killed anyone or touched anyone who was killed must stay outside the camp seven days. On the third and seventh days you must purify yourselves and your captives. Purify every garment as well as everything made of leather, goat hair or wood. Then Eleazar the priest said to the soldiers who had gone into battle, ‘This is the requirement of the law that the Lord gave Moses: Gold, silver, bronze, iron, tin, lead, and anything else that can withstand fire must be put through the fire, and then it will be clean. But it must also be purified with the water of cleansing. And whatever cannot withstand fire must be put through that water. On the seventh day wash your clothes and you will be clean. Then you may come into the camp (31:19-24)”

그러면 “제사장 엘르아살과 회중의 수령들과 더불어 사로잡은 사람들과 짐승들을 계수하고, 얻은 물건을 반분하여 절반은 전쟁에 나갔던 군인들에게 주고 절반은 회중에게 주고, 전쟁에 나갔던 군인들은 사람이나 소나 나귀나 양떼의 오백분의 일을, 여호와의 거제로 제사장 엘르아살에게 주고, 이스라엘 자손이 받은 절반에서는 사람이나 소나 나귀나 양떼나 짐승 오십분의 일을 여호와의 성막을 맡은 레위인에게 주라. 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 하니라. 군인들의 다른 탈취물 외에 양이 675,000마리요. 소가 72,000마리요. 나귀가 61,000마리요. 남자와 동침하지 아니하여 사내를 알지 못하는 여자가 32,000명이니, 그 절반 전쟁에 나갔던 자들의 소유가 양이 337,500마리라. 여호와께 공물로 드린 양이 675요. 소가 36,000마리라 여호와께 공물로 드린 것이 72마리요. 나귀가 30,500마리라 여호와께 공물로 드린 것이 61마리요. 사람이 16,000명이라 여호와께 공물로 드린 자가 32명이니, 여호와께 거제의 공물로 드린 것을 모세가 제사장 엘르아살에게 주었으니 여호와께서 명령하심과 같았더라. 모세가 전쟁에 나갔던 자에게서 나누어 이스라엘 자손, 회중이 받은 절반은 양이 337,500마리요. 소가 36,000마리요. 나귀가 30,500마리요. 사람이 16,000명이라. 이스라엘 자손의 절반에서 모세가 사람이나 짐승의 오십분의 일을 여호와의 장막을 맡은 레위인에게 주었으니 여호와께서 명령하심과 같았듯(31:32-47)” 욕심을 버리고 함께 나누며 하나님께 영광을 돌려야 사랑과 생명의 열매를 맺습니다.

Then, we will give up greed, but share everything together, and bear fruit of love and life that gives glory to God, as “The plunder remaining from the spoils that the soldiers took was 675,000 sheep, 72,000 cattle, 61,000 donkeys, and 32,000 women who had never slept with a man. The half share of those who fought in the battle was: 337,500 sheep, of which the tribute for the Lord was 675; 36,000 cattle, of which the tribute for the Lord was 72; 30,500 donkeys, of which the tribute for the Lord was 61; 16,000 people, of which the tribute for the Lord was 32. Moses gave the tribute to Eleazar the priest as the Lord’s part, as the Lord commanded Moses. The half belonging to the Israelites, which Moses set apart from that of the fighting men-the community’s half-was 337,500 sheep, 36,000 cattle, 30,500 donkeys, and 16,000 people. From the Israelites’ half, Moses selected one out of every fifty persons and animals, as the Lord commanded him, and gave them to the Levites, who were responsible for the care of the Lord’s tabernacle (31:32-47)”

그처럼 말씀과 성령의 가르침을 따라 순종하면 양심이 욕심과 열정을 지배하고 다스리게 되고, “군대의 천부장과 백부장들이 모세에게 나아와서, 군인을 계수한즉 한 사람도 축나지 아니하였기로, 각 사람이 받은 바 금 패물 발목 고리, 손목 고리, 인장 반지, 귀 고리, 목걸이들을 우리의 생명을 위하여 여호와 앞에 속죄하려고 헌금으로 가져왔나이다. 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 금으로 만든 패물을 취한즉, 16,750세겔이니, 군인들이 각기 탈취한 것이라. 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 금을 취하여 회막에 드려 여호와 앞에서 이스라엘 자손의 기념을 삼았더라(31:48-54)” 하였듯, 하나님의 은혜와 사랑을 깨닫고 감사와 찬양과 영광을 돌려드리는 믿음으로 자라게 되고 더욱 크고 많은 은혜와 사랑을 받게 되므로, 말씀을 사랑하며 성령의 가르침을 받아 순종하며 열정과 욕심을 다스리고 정복하며, 임마누엘 하나님 형통한 은혜와 사랑과 복을 받고 구원 얻기를 예수 그리스도 이름으로 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

If you obey the teachings of the Word and the Holy Spirit in this way, you will conquer and rule over your greed with your conscience, and realized God’s grace and love, and grow in faith to glorify God with gratitude and praise, and receive greater grace and love from Immanuel God, as “Then the officers who were over the units of the army-the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds-went to Moses, and said to him, ‘Your servants have counted the soldiers under our command, and not one is missing. So, we have brought as an offering to the Lord the gold articles each of us acquired-armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings and necklaces-to make atonement for ourselves before the Lord. Moses and Eleazar the priest accepted from them the gold-all the crafted articles. All the gold from the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds that Moses and Eleazar presented as a gift to the Lord weighted 16,750 shekels. Each soldier had taken plunder for himself. Moses and Eleazar the Priest accepted the gold from the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds and brought it into the Tent of Meeting as a memorial for the Israelites before the Lord (31:48-54)” Therefore, beloved brothers and sisters, you will be love the Word of God and leaned by the Holy Spirit, and self-control your fleshly passions and greed by your good conscience and always be humbly obeying to your Immanuel God until your death, then you will surely be saved and entered eternal life in the kingdom of God in the heaven within the name of Christ Jesus all. Amen.
