프놈펜 마약 단속 : 마약상 1명 검거

Capital raid snares high-level drug dealer

  - 프놈펜 광역경찰청은 토요일(6.30) 거물급 마약상 1명을 검거하고, 미화 8천 달러 상당의 결정형 메스암페타민(=크리스탈)을 압수한 후, 어제(7.2) 기자회견을 가짐.

  - 검거된 자는 '몹'(Mab)이란 별명을 가진 빠우 분타로(Pav Buntharo, 26세)로서, 쁘람삐 마까라 구의 벙 쁘롤릿(Boeung Prolit) 동에서 마약 구매자를 물색하러 돌아다니다 검거됨. 그는 금년 1월부터 마약거래를 했다고 함.

An alleged high-level member of a drug ring was arrested in Phnom Penh with US$8,000 worth of crystal methamphetamines on Saturday, Phnom Penh municipal police said at a press conference yesterday.

Lieutenant-Colonel Chuon Narin, chief of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police Commissioner’s serious penal police, said Pav Buntharo, 26, also known as Mab, had been arrested in Prampei Makara district’s Boeung Prolit commune.

“He was arrested while police were patrolling in Boeung Prolit commune and found him standing around selling drugs there,” Narin said.

According to Narin, police seized a large quantity of methamphetamines, which had been divided into 44 smaller packages for resale, as well as a scale allegedly used to weigh drugs. “This is a big crackdown on drug trafficking,” he said.

Narin said Buntharo confessed to having been involved in the drug trade since January of this year, and had been preliminarily charged by police with drug trafficking.

Sok Roeun, deputy prosecutor at the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, said Buntharo had been sent there for interrogation by prosecutors, but charges would not be laid until judges’ investigations were complete.

그냥 조무라기 하나 잡은 걸로 보이네요..

Mab이라는 병명도 있나요? 아니면 별명인가요?,,, 제가 보기엔 별명같은데,,,,,
여기 대만은 다른 죄 보다가 마약사범을 젤로 중형으로 다스리더라구요.
교통사고로 인사사고 내봐도 별로 오래 감옥에 살지 않는데 여기 감옥에 지금 한국인도 여럿 있어요.
거기엔 다 중형들 맏고서 무기수도 있다나요,,,,그저 마약운반 심부름하다가 걸린 사람들인데도요..
