타락된 인간은 신령(神靈)에 대한 감성이 극히 둔하기 때문에, 대개 진리면에 치중하여 복귀섭리노정(復歸攝理路程)을 따라 나가게 된다. 따라서 이러한 인간들은 흔히 낡은 시대의 진리관(眞理觀)에 집착되어 있기 때문에, 복귀섭리가 새로운 섭리의 시대에로 전환하고 있어도 그들은 이 새 시대의 섭리에 쉽게 감응하여 따라갈 수는 없는 것이다. 구약성서(舊約聖書)에 집착되었던 유대인들이 예수님을 따라 신약시대(新約時代)의 섭리에 호응할 수 없었던 사실은 이것을 입증하는 좋은 예라 하겠다.

그러나 기도로써 신령한 것을 감득할 수 있는 성도들은 새 시대의 섭리를 심령적으로 알게 되므로, 낡은 시대의 진리면에서는 상충적인 입장에 서면서도 신령을 따라 새 시대의 섭리에 호응하게 되는 것이다. 그러므로 예수님을 따른 제자들 중에는 구약성서에 집착된 인물은 하나도 없었고 오직 마음에 느껴지는 신령을 따라간 사람들뿐이었다.

기도를 많이 하는 사람이나 양심적인 사람들이 말세(末世)에 있어서 극심한 심적인 초조감을 면할 수 없게 되는 이유는, 그들이 막연하게나마 신령을 감득하여서 마음으로는 새 시대의 섭리를 따르려 하고 있음에도 불구하고 몸을 이 방향으로 이끌어 줄 수 있는 새 진리에 접하지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 신령적으로 이러한 상태에 처한 신도들이, 그들을 새 시대의 섭리에로 이끌어 주는 새 진리를 듣기만 하면 신령과 진리가 동시에 그들의 심령(心靈)과 지능(智能)을 깨우쳐서, 새 시대에 대한 하나님의 섭리적인 요구를 완전히 인식하게 할 수 있기 때문에, 그들은 말할 수 없는 기쁨으로 그에 호응하게 되는 것이다.

堕落した人間は神霊に対する感性が非常に鈍いために、大抵は真理面に重きをおいて復帰摂理路程を歩んでいくようになる。したがって、このような人間たちは、古い時代の真理観に執着しているがゆえに、復帰摂理が新しい摂理の時代へと転換していても、彼らはこの新しい時代の摂理にたやすく感応してついてくることが難しいのである。旧約聖書に執着していたユダヤ人たちが、イエスに従って新約時代の摂理に応じることができなかったという史実は、これを立証してくれる良い例だといわなければならない。しかし、祈りをもって神霊的なものを感得し得る信徒たちは、新しい時代の摂理を、心霊的に知ることができるので、古い時代の真理面においては、相克的な立場に立ちながらも、神霊によって新しい時代の摂理に応じることができるのである。それゆえに、イエスに従った弟子たちの中には、旧約聖書に執着していた人物は一人もおらず、もっぱら心に感応してくる神霊に従った人々だけであった。祈りを多くささげる人、あるいは良心的な人たちが、終末において甚だしい精神的な焦燥感を免れることができない理由は、彼らが、漠然たるものであるにせよ、神霊を感得して、心では新しい時代の摂理に従おうとしているにもかかわらず、体をこの方面に導いてくれる新しい真理に接することができないからである。それゆえに、神霊的にこのような状態に処している信徒たちが、彼らを新しい時代の摂理へと導くことができる新しい真理を聞くようになれば、神霊と真理が、同時に彼らの心霊と知能を開発させて、新しい時代に対する神の摂理的な要求を完全に認識することができるので、彼らは言葉に尽くせない喜びをもってそれに応じることができるのである。

Fallen people’s spiritual sensibility is extremely dull. Hence, they generally tend to adhere strictly to the letter of the truth in their efforts to follow God’s providence. Such people cannot readily adjust themselves to the dispensation of the new age, even though the providence of restoration is moving toward it. They are generally too strongly attached to the outdated perspective provided by the doctrines of the old age. This is well illustrated by the case of the Jewish people of Jesus’ day who were so attached to the Old Testament that they could not respond to Jesus’ call to open a new chapter of the providence.
 
On the other hand, those believers who receive divine inspiration through prayer are able to grasp spiritually the providence of the new age. Even though this may put them at odds with the doctrines of the old age, they will still respond to the promptings of the spirit and follow the calling of the new providence. Among the disciples of Jesus, there was not one who was overly attached to the Old Testament Scriptures. Rather, they all responded to the spiritual experiences which they could sense through their inner minds.
 
In the Last Days, people who lead an ardent life of prayer or who live by their conscience will feel intense anxiety in their hearts. This is because in their hearts they vaguely sense a spiritual calling and want to follow the providence of the new age, yet they have not come in contact with the new truth which can guide them to act accordingly. These are the chosen ones who, once they hear the new truth, will be awakened simultaneously in their spirits and intellects by spirit and truth. They will then fully understand God’s providential needs concerning the new age and will volunteer with great enthusiasm and delight.
