Why Do You Lack Assurance?(1 John 5:11~13)
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son(11).
Hymn #250 Down at the Cross Where My Savior Died(Unified Hymn 182)
It's stated, "He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son does not have life."(1 John 5:12) Here, the Son is Christ. This is where everything starts. However, why do you lack assurance?
1. "It's because they don't not know the life of the saved."
Those who are saved have accepted Jesus. Within them, the life of Christ exists(John 1:12) which means that the Holy Spirit dwells in them(1 Corinthians 3:16).
2. "It's because they don't know the blessings of the saved."
The greatest blessing for those who are saved is "liberation." They've been freed from "Original Sin," actual sins, and ancestral sins. They've been set free from being held captive by Satan for the "Original Sin" of not knowing God(John 8:44).
3. "It's because they don't know the privileges of the saved."(Matthew 16:13~20)
They have a privilege. Those who have the life of Christ are built like a rock Salvation) on which Christ will build the church(Evangelism). Only God's children have been given the authority to overcome Satan and the privilege of receiving answers to prayer.
4. "It's because they don't know the way of life of the saved."
Their way of life is the guidance of the Holy Spirit who reminds them of everything(John 14:26) and gives true peace(John 14:27). Likewise, you've received "absolute salvation." If that's so, you must ask about "the absolute plan" to receive "absolute answers."
The only one who can save you is Jesus Christ. The word that eliminates Satan; disasters; and the three curses of the background of Hell is "Christ." This Christ is none other than “Jesus." That's why you have to believe in Him. Salvation is liberation from the sin of leaving God;(Ephesians 2:1) freedom from the ruler of the kingdom of the air;(Ephesians 2:2) and from being, by nature, children of wrath(Ephesians 2:3). Furthermore, you've received a guarantee regarding the afterlife(Ephesians 2:6), and many evidences will appear in your present reality(Ephesians 2:7).
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for making me Your child who has received "absolute salvation." Thank you for granting me "the absolute blessing" of being in Your presence and within Your guidance. Through these blessings, help me become the witness to save the world. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
