Title: The Blessing in Christ Jesus
Scripture: Ephesians 1:3
Everyone living in this world desires to be blessed.
No one wishes to live a life devoid of blessing.
That is why, traditionally, the Chinese people have long desired to receive the five blessings.
These five blessings are: health, wealth, long life, love of virtue, and a peaceful death.
Likewise, all people desire to live a blessed life.
However, even if a person lives on this earth receiving such blessings, if they die and face God's judgment and eternal punishment, those blessings will be of no use.
The Bible tells us that the eternal and true blessing is found in Christ Jesus.
The Scriptures proclaim that the blessing found in Christ Jesus is the genuine and true blessing.
Therefore, today I will deliver a message under the title, "The Blessing in Christ Jesus."
What blessings are found in Christ Jesus?
First, in Christ Jesus, there is the blessing of Salvation.
The New Testament, in Romans 3:23, says this: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"
And Romans 6:23 says this: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
The Bible tells us that because all people have sinned, they are subject to the punishment of death.
However, it says that if we believe in Christ Jesus, we receive eternal life.
Let's look at John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
That is correct.
Anyone who simply believes in Christ Jesus can have eternal life and will not perish.
Thus, the blessing of eternal life is in Christ Jesus.
I bless all of you to receive the blessing of eternal life that is in Christ Jesus.
Second, in Christ Jesus, there is the blessing that God is with us.
Another name for Jesus is Immanuel.
The meaning of Immanuel is "God with us."
And in Matthew 28:20, Jesus promised, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
So, why is it good that Jesus is with us?
There are several reasons.
First reason, Jesus knows everything about us.
Jesus knows all about us: our needs, our joys, our sorrows, our pains, and our problems.
Second reason, Jesus desires to help us.
Jesus meets our needs when we are in want.
Jesus rejoices with us when we have happy events.
Jesus comforts us when we have sorrow and pain.
Jesus desires to resolve the problems that arise in our lives.
Third reason, Jesus accompanies us.
Jesus can always be with us, wherever we go and whatever we do in this world.
And this Jesus, who is always with us in this world, will ultimately be with us forever in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Today, I have briefly shared a message under the title, "The Blessing in Christ Jesus."
The person who is in Christ Jesus receives salvation, gains eternal life, and goes to heaven.
This is the first blessing in Christ Jesus.
The person who is in Christ Jesus can always walk with Him.
This is the second blessing in Christ Jesus.
Jesus loves us more than anyone and anything else.
I bless all of you to become people who can enjoy the blessing that is found in Christ Jesus.
