'Sultans of Swing(스윙의 황제들)'은 영국의 록밴드 다이어 스트레이츠의 노래이다. 마크 노플러가 작곡하였다. 1978년 처음으로 발간하였고, 1979년 영국과 미국에서 히트를 하였다. 그들의 첫번째 히트 곡이었다. 술탄이라는 말은 이슬람에서 최고의 권위자를 말하는데 음악적으로 표현한 것이다. 'Sultans of Swing'은 재즈 음악용어 중의 하나인 '스윙(Swing)', 이슬람 문화의 통치자를 뜻하는 '술탄(Sultan)'을 합쳐서 만든 노래의 제목 입니다.

「Dire Straits」는 1977년 결성한 영국의 록 밴드로서 1977년부터 1988년까지 그리고 1991년부터 1995년까지 활동하였습니다. 이들은 세계 최고의 베스트 셀링 뮤직 아티스트들 중 하나로 1억 장 이상의 앨범 판매고를 올렸으며, 네 개의 그래미상을 수상 했고, 세 개의 브릿 어워드(최고의 영국 그룹에 두 번), 두 개의 MTV 비디오 뮤직 어워드를 비롯한 다양한 음악 상을 수상하였으며, 2018년 '록앤롤' 명예의 전당에 헌정되었습니다.​
