어린이와 함께하는 18년의 창작동요 이야기

18 Years of Creative Songs with Children

캥거루 창작동요제는 2003년 모든 세대가 같이 부를 수 있는 창작동요 보급을 목적으로 시작되었다. 2024년 현재까지 창작동요집 17권 창작동요 음반 17장을 제작하였으며, 창작동요 발표회 13회, 창작동요 콘서트 4회가 열렸다. 발표된 곡은 총 520곡 이다.

캥거루가 아기를 품에 품고 키우듯, 동요라는 장르가 어린이들에 국한되지 않고 어른들도 함께 부를 수 있는 동요가 되기를 바라는 뜻으로 동요제를 지금까지 추진해 오고 있으며, 특별히 2007년에는 창작동요 음반과 유아용 창작동요 음반을 같이 제작하기도 했다.

캥거루창작동요제는 처음에는 서울을 중심으로 동요제가 개최되었으나 2016년 제주, 2019년 여수 등 지방에서도 동요제를 개최해 오고 있으며 참여하는 작곡가와 가창자들은 전국에 분포되어 있다.

2003년부터 소리둥지(www.cs79.com)를 통해서 창작동요를 널리 알려왔으며 2020년부터는 악보 및 동영상을 유튜브에 올려 창작동요를 보급하고 있다.

어린이들의 순수한 감성으로 노래를 부르는 동요제를 지금까지 계속 이어져 왔으며, 늘 어린이들에게 새로운 창작을 통해서 한국동요는 역사상 100주년 기념으로 오늘날까지 이어왔다고 생각해본다.

디지털화된 시대에 자연의 아름다움과 따뜻한 정서를 담은 동요보급을 위해 캥거루창작동요제는 어린이의 문화 예술 발전에 크게 노력해서 세계화로 이어갈 계획이다.

he Kangaroo Creative Song Festival began in 2003 with the aim of distributing creative songs that all generations can sing together. To date in 2024, 17 creative children's songs have been produced, 13 creative children's songs presentation and 4 creative children's songs concerts have been held.

There are a total of 520 songs released. Just as kangaroos raise their babies in their arms, the genre of children's songs has been promoted so far in hopes that it will become a children's song that adults can sing together, and in 2007, they also produced creative children's songs and children's creative children's songs together.

Kangaroo Creation Song Festival was initially held in Seoul, but children's songs have been held in Jeju in 2016 and Yeosu in 2019, and participating composers and singers are distributed throughout the country. Since 2003, creative children's songs have been widely known through the Sound Nest (www.cs79.com ), and from 2020, music scores and videos have been posted on YouTube to spread creative children's songs.

The children's song festival, which sings with the pure emotions of children, has continued until now, and I think that Korean children's songs have continued to this day to commemorate the 100th anniversary in history through new creations for children.

In order to disseminate children's songs containing the beauty and warm emotions of nature in the digitized era, the Kangaroo Creation Song Festival plans to make great efforts to develop children's culture and arts and lead to globalization.
