The world’s stage is open for a show
The grand show opens starting at 6:30 AM when I leave for work
I press on the garage door button
Slowly the world’s stage curtain open
And the grand scenery created by God is presented
The moon is hanging within the slender branches in the midst of spring early morning
It eagerly waited for my entrance, but it looked tired from the long wait – only half of its face was now shown
The half-moon smiles brightly at the daughter of God
The moon didn’t get to sleep
It toiled all night, tidying up the sky
The wide sky floor
The undulating dust prints of the broom within the clouds
The moon broomed all night until it became half-faced
Though it is tired, it greets me
It waited for the Hodanites to wake
The cloud has been broomed
Now, to my front yard
Fallen leaves and flower petals gently sit
Pure and clear dews are ornated like the jewels
The white cloud residue that the moon forgot to sweep
Wave to me good-bye and say drive safe as I leave for work
The far-distanced sun slowly begins to rise
The sun lits through the alley I drive through
The tall alley trees rub their eyes as they are awakened by the light
The trees are all raising their arms toward the sky, praising God
They are lined side by side and pronounce
“Whoa! God’s daughter is passing through!”
The polite roadside trees waving one arm at me
It bends its elbows and salutes me good-bye
They wait for the Spring to wear the green dress
How cute are they to greet me only in their underwear
Then, there are palm trees wearing ballet tutus
Cheerleading pom poms
They hold onto cheerleading pom poms
They watch me over the freeway fence
“I am watching you, too” they say as they wink at me
The trees break their shoulders just to climb over the fence
Just to see daughter of God
When did the world visit the flower shop?
Flowers lay on top of the freeway hills
All bulbs and petals praising and cheering to God
On a five-lane freeway
The vehicles in front, back and sides guard my traffic
Numerous lines of vehicles large and small
Street lamps standing in rows, bowing down in humility and lighting the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Telegraph poles mark the cross on their back and remind me the grace of Jesus
Bird flocks dance above – up and down dancing with the Holy Spirit
I look through the front windshield, and I view the mountains
The mountain is covered with Holy Spirit fog
The mountain peaks capped with white snow
I see the mountain floating far away in the sky
Even the descending planes from up above
God watches plane’s landing
My father’s love is all over the place
“Whoa, I am a child of God.”
“I am God’s daughter.”
God, I love you. Jesus, thank you. Holy Spirit, thank you.
I shout my heart full of praises in the car.
Already, I am at my work parking lot.
“Go and happily do your work. After you’re done, I will take you safely home.”
Parked cars bow down with respect.
As I walk to work with a smile,
I become a soldier of God.
I enter with courage and strength.
