성경말씀: 레위기 26장

Scripture Reading: Leviticus 26

“자기를 위하여 우상을 만들지 말지니 조각한 것이나 주상을 세우지 말며 너희 땅에 조각한 석상을 세우고 경배하지 말라 나는 너희의 하나님 여호와임이니라. 내 안식일을 지키며 성소를 경외하라(26:1-2)” 하셨듯, 하나님은 영이시고, “태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라(요1:1)” 하셨듯, 생명의 말씀 하나님이시므로, “너희가 내 규례와 계명을 준행하면, 내가 철따라 비를 주리니 땅은 산물을 내고 밭의 나무는 열매를 맺으리라. 타작은 포도 딸 때까지 미치며 포도 따는 것은 파종할 때까지 미치리니 너희가 음식을 배불리 먹고 안전하게 거주하리라. 내가 평화를 줄 것인즉 너희가 누울 때 두렵게 할 자가 없을 것이며 내가 사나운 짐승을 그 땅에서 제할 것이요 칼이 너희의 땅에 두루 행하지 아니할 것이며, 너희의 원수들을 쫓으리니 너희 앞에서 칼에 엎드러질 것이라. 너희 다섯이 백을 쫓고 백이 만을 쫓으리니 대적들이 너희 앞에서 칼에 엎드러질 것이며, 내가 너희를 돌보아 번성하게 하고 창대하게 할 것이며 내가 너희와 함께 한 내 언약을 이행하리라. 너희는 오래 두었던 묵은 곡식을 먹다가 새 곡식으로 말미암아 묵은 곡식을 치우게 될 것이며, 내가 내 성막을 너희 중에 세우리니 내 마음이 너희를 싫어하지 아니할 것이며, 나는 너희의 하나님이 되고 너희는 내 백성이 될 것이니라. 나는 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도해 내어 종된 것을 면하게 한 너희의 하나님 여호와이니라 내가 너희 멍에의 빗장을 부수고 바로 서서 걷게 하였느니라(26:3-13)” 하셨는데, 말씀을 하나님으로 믿고 따라 지키며 순종하면 복과 구원을 얻고 거역하면 징계와 심판을 받습니다.

For God the Father is the Spirit, as “Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the Lord your God. Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord (26:1-2)” And, God is the Word of life also, as “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John1:1)” Therefore, everyone, surely be blessed and saved by God, if he will be love the Word and believe it to his God and sincerely obeying to it, but if anyone who does not obeying to the word of God, he will surely be cursed and condemned, as “If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rein in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safely in your land. I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove savage beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high (26:3-13)”

그런데 사람들은 하나님 말씀에 순종하기 보다는 거역하는 죄에 빠지기 때문에, “너희가 내게 청종하지 아니하여 이 모든 명령을 준행하지 아니하며, 내 규례를 멸시하며 법도를 싫어하여 모든 계명을 준행하지 아니하며 언약을 배반할진대, 내가 너희에게 놀라운 재앙을 내려 폐병과 열병으로 눈이 어둡고 생명이 쇠약하게 할 것이요 너희가 파종한 것은 헛되리니 대적이 그것을 먹을 것임이며, 내가 너희를 치리니 너희가 대적에게 패할 것이요 너희를 미워하는 자가 너희를 다스릴 것이며 너희는 쫓는 자가 없어도 도망하리라. 만일 그렇게 되어도 내게 청종하지 아니하면 내가 너희를 일곱 배나 더 징벌하리라. 내가 너희의 세력으로 말미암은 교만을 꺾고 하늘을 철과 같게 하며 땅을 놋과 같게 하리니, 너희의 수고가 헛될지라 땅은 산물을 내지 아니하고 나무는 열매를 맺지 아니하리라. 너희가 내게 청종하지 아니할진대 내가 너희의 죄대로 일곱 배나 더 재앙을 내리리라. 내가 들짐승을 너희 중에 보내리니 너희의 자녀를 움키고 가축을 멸하며 너희의 수효를 줄이리니 길들이 황폐하리라. 이런 일을 당하여도 내게 돌아오지 아니하고 대항할진대, 나도 너희에게 대항하여 너희를 칠 배나 더 치리라. 내가 칼을 너희에게 가져다가 언약을 어긴 원수를 갚을 것이며 너희가 성읍에 모일지라도 염병을 보내고 대적의 손에 넘길 것이며, 내가 너희가 의뢰하는 양식을 끊을 때에 열 여인이 한 화덕에서 떡을 구워 저울에 달아 주리니 먹어도 배부르지 아니하리라(26:14-26)” 경고하셨습니다.

However, peoples are more likely to fall into sins of distorting and rebelling against the Word of God rather than accepting it according to God’s will, believing it and obeying it, so God warned them, as “If you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands, and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant, then I will do this to you: I will bring upon you, sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and drain away your life. You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it. I will set my face against you so that you will be defeated by your enemies; those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you. If after all this you will not listen to me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over. I will break down your stubborn pride and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze. Your strength will be spent in vain, because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of the land yield their fruit. If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over, as your sins deserve. I will send wild animals against you, and they will rob you of your children, destroy your cattle and make you so few in number that your roads will be deserted. If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me, I myself will be hostile toward you and will afflict you for your sins even times over. And I will bring the sword upon you to avenge the breaking of the covenant. When you withdraw into your cities, I will send a plague among you, and you will be given into enemy hands. When I cut off your supply of bread, ten women will be able to bake your bread in one oven, and they will dole out the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied (26:14-26)”

그런 경고의 말씀을 보고 듣고 배우면서도 약속의 말씀만 좋아할 뿐 순종하지 못하고 거역하는 죄에 빠져들기 때문에 “너희가 이같이 될지라도 내게 청종하지 아니하고 대항할진대, 내가 진노로 대항하되 너희의 죄로 칠 배나 더 징벌하리니, 너희가 아들의 살을 먹을 것이요 딸의 살을 먹을 것이며, 내가 너희의 산당들을 헐며 분향단들을 부수고 너희의 시체들을 부서진 우상들 위에 던지고 내 마음이 너희를 싫어할 것이며, 내가 너희의 성읍을 황폐하게 하고 성소들을 황량하게 할 것이요 향기로운 냄새를 내가 흠향하지 아니하고, 땅을 황무하게 하리니 거기 거주하는 너희의 원수들이 놀랄 것이며, 내가 너희를 여러 민족 중에 흩을 것이요 내가 칼을 빼어 너희를 따르게 하리니 너희의 땅이 황무하며 성읍이 황폐하리라. 너희가 원수의 땅에 살 동안에 너희의 본토가 황무할 것이므로 땅이 안식을 누릴 것이라, 너희가 그 땅에 거주하는 동안 너희가 안식할 때에 땅은 쉬지 못하였으나 그 땅이 황무할 동안에는 쉬게 되리라. 너희 남은 자에게는 원수들의 땅에서 마음을 약하게 하리니 바람에 불린 잎사귀 소리에도 놀라 도망하기를 칼을 피하여 도망하듯 할 것이요 쫓는 자가 없어도 엎드러질 것이라. 쫓는 자가 없어도 칼 앞에 있음 같이 서로 짓밟혀 넘어지리니 너희가 원수들을 맞설 힘이 없을 것이요. 여러 민족 중에서 망하리니 원수들의 땅이 너희를 삼킬 것이라. 너희 남은 자가 원수들의 땅에서 자기의 죄로 말미암아 쇠잔하며 조상의 죄로 말미암아 쇠잔하리라(26:27-39)” 하셨듯, 경고를 거듭하신 것입니다.

For God repeatedly warns to us, as “If in spite of this you still do not listen to me but continue to be hostile toward me, then in my anger I will be hostile toward you, and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over. You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters. I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars and pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols, and I will abhor you. I will turn your cities into ruins and lay waste your sanctuaries, and I will take no delight in the pleasing aroma of your offerings. I will lay waste the land, so that your enemies who live there will be appalled. I will scatter you among the nations and will draw out my sword and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste, and your cities will lie in ruins. Then the land will enjoy its sabbath years all the time that it lies desolate and you are in the country of your enemies; then the land will rest and enjoy its sabbaths. All the time that it lies desolate, the land will have the rest it did not have during the sabbaths you lived in it. As for those of you who are left, I will make their hearts so fearful in the lands of their enemies that the sound of a windblown leaf will put them to flight. They will run as though fleeing from the sword, and they will fall, even though no one is pursuing them. They will stumble over one another as though fleeing from the sword, even though fleeing from the sword, even though no one is pursuing them. So, you will not be able to stand before your enemies. You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will devour you. Those of you who are left will waste away in the lands of their enemies because of their sins; also because of their fathers’ sins they will waste away (26:27-39)” Because, almost of peoples are falling into sin of disobeying and loving only the words of promise, even though they see, hear and learn such words of warning.

그러나 “오래 참으사 아무도 멸망하지 않고 다 회개외 이르기를 원하시는(벧후3:9)” 하나님의 참 사랑 때문에, “그들이 나를 거스른 잘못으로 자기의 죄악과 조상의 죄악을 자복하고 내가 그들을 그들의 원수들의 땅으로 끌어 갔음을 깨닫고 할례 받지 아니한 마음이 낮아져서 죄악의 형벌을 기쁘게 받으면, 내가 야곱과 이삭과 아브라함과 맺은 내 언약을 기억하리라. 내 법도를 싫어하며 규례를 멸시하였으므로 그 땅을 떠나서 사람이 없을 때에 땅은 황폐하여 안식을 누릴 것이요 그들은 자기 죄악의 형벌을 기쁘게 받으리라. 그런즉 원수들의 땅에 있을 때에 내가 그들을 내버리지 아니하며 미워하지 아니하며 아주 멸하지 아니하고 내 언약을 폐하지 아니하리니 나는 여호와 그들의 하나님이 됨이니라. 내가 그들의 하나님이 되기 위하여 민족들이 보는 앞에서 애굽 땅으로부터 그들을 인도하여 낸 그들의 조상과의 언약을 기억하리라 나는 여호와이니라(26:40-45)” 하셨듯, 징계와 고난으로 연단하시며 죄를 깨닫고 회개하여 순종하는 믿음으로 인도하시고 용서하며 회복시키고 다시 살 기회를 주십니다. 그러므로, 성경 말씀이 하나님과 예수 그리스도라 믿고 사랑하며 말씀에 숨겨진 복음의 진리를 올바로 찾아 배우고 믿으며 따라 지키고 순종하여 임마누엘 하나님 형통한 은혜와 사랑을 받으며 그리스도 복음의 증인이 되는 생명의 열매를 맺고 구원 얻기를 예수 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

But “The Lord is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2Peter3:9)” according to his unfailing loves. God disciplines us through correctness with sufferings, leads us to realize our sins, repent, and have faith that obeys, forgives us, heals us and gives us a chance to live again by faith in Jesus, as “If they will confess their sins and the sins of their fathers-their treachery against me and their hostility toward me, which made me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies-then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin, I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land. For the land will be deserted by them and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them. They will pay for their sins because they rejected my laws and abhorred my decrees. Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the Lord their God. But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord. These are the decrees, the laws and the regulations that the Lord established on Mount Sinai between himself and the Israelites through Moses (26:40-45)” Therefore, beloved brothers and sisters, you must love and believe the Word of God in the bible to your personal God, and sincerely seek to real truth of the gospel and faithfully obeying it, then the Lord will become your Immanuel God and you will surely be trustworthy witness of the gospel of Christ Jesus and bear fruits of life and obtained to redemption and Salvation. I hopefully pray and pleaded for you to my God, you should be like as correctness and worthy faith in Christ Jesus our Savior all. Amen.
