ONLY 4 DAYS LEFT
PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK AND SIGN UP TO CAAB'S THUNDERCLAP CAMPAIGN
whether you are able to come to the demonstration or not. The Thunderclap will promote the annual 4th July Independence FROM America demonstration and will highlight CAAB's work to make U.S. bases in the UK accountable to the UK Government. It will also help to increase general awareness of U.S. bases around the world. http://thndr.it/1sh7XSb
We have 81 supporters and a potential social reach of 46,541 - we need 19 more supporters to make this Thunderclap happen.
The Thunderclap will be sent out on Sunday 29th June, inviting people to come to the demonstration.
We need 100 people to join and support this otherwise the Thunderclap will NOT happen. You can support it with Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr (each person can support it using Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr - all 3 = 3 supporters) - you can add your own personal message and invite your friends to join and share the Thunderclap.
Thunderclap is a new platform that allows people to pledge a Facebook message or a Tweet that is concentrated and unleashed all at the same time - like a massive flash mob on Facebook.
If you sign up to support the Thunderclap, the message
“IMPORTANT EVENT-Annual Independence FROM America demonstration - NSA/NRO Menwith Hill UK, Fri.4th July 5-9pm HG3 2RFhttp://thndr.it/1kWVQEG”
will be posted automatically on to YOUR wall only, ONCE, at 12.00pm midday on Sunday 29th June. It will be posted on the walls and the twitters of everyone who supports it, all at the same time, creating a wave of publicity for the event that could potentially be seen by a good number of friends and followers of everyone who signed up.
Thunderclap say that they have no intention of using your friends list. They access it to count your friends in order to add that number to the number of the potential social reach of the Thunderclap.
Thunderclap say:
"Wait, but why does the authorization message say you need access to my friends list?
The permissions granted to us by Twitter and Facebook include some that we have no intention of using, which includes access to your friends list. We only post a single message to your account in support of your chosen campaign. We only store a token that is given to us by the social networks over a secure connection. We do not see your password, nor do we store it in our system".
It takes a few seconds to do - please help.

p.p.s. Those who would rather not sign on to this campaign directly, are most welcome to just join it by scheduling a Status Update or Tweet yourself! Just share the flier (new one not quite available yet) or the details about the demonstration anytime on the 29th June (and on other days running up to the 4th July if you would like to).
