학원 등록 전에 Refund 정책을 꼭 이해하고 들어가세요.

어느 기간을 등록해야 할지 여행 일정, 수업이 맘에 들지 않을 경우 등등을 고려하셔서 결정하셔야 합니다. 그리고 거의 모든 학원에서 Trial Lesson( 유학원이 권해 주는 곳만 믿지 마시고 직접 학원을 찾아 다니며 받아보세요)을 제공하니, 수업의 질을 꼭 먼저 확인하셔야 등록 후 들어가서 실망하지 않을 실 겁니다. 등록 후 실망하실 경우에는 환불이 거의 안 된 다는 것 명심 하시구요… 아래는 저의 경험입니다. 참고하십시오. 3달을 등록 후 첫번째 달 3주 후에 수업에 실망하여서 남은 8주를 Cancel하려고 하였습니다. 제가 예상했던(계약서를 보고서…) refund는 남은 4주, $150 panelty후 잔액, 마지막 4주 전액 refund였었는데요….. 계약서에 따른다면(수업 시작일을 언제로 해석하느냐가 다르더라구요…몇번째 semester이던…일단 처음 수업 받은 날을 수업 시작일로 한답니다….)전액 0% refund 입니다. 절대 Cancel이 안됩니다. … 참... 방법이 없네요. 계약서 자체가 학원입장만을 고려해서 작성된 것이라, 제가 환불 받을 수 없다고 하네요... 영어를 사용하지 않는 제 3국 학생들을 상대로 참... 너무나 부당한 장사(?)를 하고 있단 생각이 듭니다. 모든 학원의 계약서가 이러하다면... 소비자 입장에서 너무나 부당한 계약서가 아니겠는지요... 3개월을 등록한 학생이 첫날 수업을 듣고 맘에 안들어 다음달 부터 남은 2개월을 취소하려고 해도 50%밖에 못 받고, 그나마 3주후에 수업을 취소하려고 하면 단 일푼도 받을 수 없다는 것이... 어떻게 이렇게 불합리한 계약서가 있을까요? 등록 후 취소가 거의 불가능 하다고 봐야 겠네요.... Refund 정책에 대해 토론토 어학원들이 모두 담합을 했다고 들었습니다. 모든 학원이 비슷할 텐데.. 학생 쪽에서 합리적으로 계약서가 작성 될 수 있게 하는 방법이 없겠는지요... 담합 해서 학원을 다니지 말자... 해야 하나???? 가능한 Refund관련하여서 학생들이 피해를 입지 않도록, 충분히 교육(?)을 시켜 주셨으면 합니다. 계약서의 내용을 정확히 알 수 있도록이요. 또한, 학원 등록 전에 Trial Lesson을 학생들이 충분히 활용하고 학원을 선택할 수 있도록... 등록 후 취소하는 경우가 최소한이 되도록... 어린 학생들에게 좀 알려주세요..... 감사합니다. Refund Policy 1. Students who are unable to obtain a visa to enter Canada will be given a full refund of course fees. The student must return the original Letter of Acceptance to The school in order to receive the refund. No refund on registration fees will be given. 2. If a student provides a written notice of withdrawal to The school at least 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the course, a full refund of course fees will be given. No refund on registration fees will be given. 3. If a student provides a written notice of withdrawal to The school within 4 weeks prior to course commencement, a full refund of course fees will be given, less a cancellation fee of $150. No refund on registration fees will be given. 4. If a student who is enrolled in a 4-week session cancels after the start date, no refund is given. 5. If a student who is enrolled in more than a 4-week session cancels when less than 25% of the courses are completed, a 50% refund will be given. 6. If a student who is enrolled in more than a 4-week session cancels when 25% or more of the courses are completed, no refund will be given. 7. Students who wish to postpone the start date of their course may do so provided they inform The school in writing at least 4 weeks prior to the original start date. 8. Homestay cancellation is subject to a $150 fee.
