많은 사람이 계시록을 세상의 종말에 대한 말씀으로 오해하지만, “예수 그리스도의 계시라 이는 하나님이 그에게 주사 반드시 속히 일어날 일들을 그 종들에게 보이시려고 그의 천사를 그 종 요한에게 보내어 알게 하신 것이라. 요한은 하나님의 말씀과 예수 그리스도의 증거 곧 자기가 본 것을 다 증언하였느니라. 이 예언의 말씀을 읽는 자와 듣는 자와 그 가운데에 기록한 것을 지키는 자는 복이 있나니 때가 가까움이라(1:1-3)” 하셨듯, 생명의 복음에 따라 예수 그리스도를 믿고 구원을 얻으려는 사람들이 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 정한 법칙에 합당한 믿음이 돼야 구원을 얻게 된다 가르치는 말씀입니다.

Too many peoples are misunderstanding the Book of Revelation as a word of judgement and the end of the world and mankind, but it is a word that says that even if you believe in Jesus according to the gospel of life, you will be saved only with faith that is in accordance with the rules and laws set by God, as “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angle to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. (1:1-3)”

그렇기 때문에, “요한은 아시아에 있는 일곱 교회에 편지하노니 이제도 계시고 전에도 계셨고 장차 오실 이와 그의 보좌 앞에 있는 일곱 영과, 충성된 증인으로 죽은 자들 가운데에서 먼저 나시고 땅의 임금들의 머리가 되신 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있기를 원하노라 우리를 사랑하사 그의 피로 우리 죄에서 우리를 해방하시고, 그의 아버지 하나님을 위하여 우리를 나라와 제사장으로 삼으신 그에게 영광과 능력이 세세토록 있기를 원하노라 아멘(1:4-6)” 하셨습니다.

That’s why, the Scripture says it, as “John, to the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits, before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever. Amen. (1:4-6)”

그러나 “볼지어다 그가 구름을 타고 오시리라 각 사람의 눈이 그를 보겠고 그를 찌른 자들도 볼 것이요 땅에 있는 모든 족속이 그로 말미암아 애곡하리니 그러하리라 아멘(1:7)” 하신 말씀을, “주께서 호령과 천사장의 소리와 하나님의 나팔 소리로 친히 하늘로부터 강림하시리니 그리스도 안에서 죽은 자들이 먼저 일어나고, 그 후에 우리 살아남은 자들도 그들과 함께 구름 속으로 끌어 올려 공중에서 주를 영접하게 하시리니 그리하여 우리가 항상 주와 함께 있으리라(살전4:16-17)” 말씀과 결부시켜 그리스도께서 단 일회적으로 재림하시고, 세상을 심판하시며 새 하늘과 새 땅을 창조하시리라 착각하게 됩니다.

However, by linking the verse8 of the text with 1Thessalonians4:16-17, as “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So, shall it be. Amen. (1:7)” - “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever (1Thessalonins4:16-17)” we mistakenly believe that Christ will return once to judge the world and people and create a new heaven and earth, 

그렇지만, “여기 서 있는 사람 중에 죽기 전에 인자가 그 왕권을 가지고 오는 것을 볼 자들도 있느니라(마16:28) -예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 내게서 들은 바 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 기다리라. 요한은 물로 세례를 베풀었으나 너희는 몇 날이 못되어 성령으로 세례를 받으리라(행1:4-5)-오순절 날이 이미 이르매 그들이 다같이 한 곳에 모였더니, 홀연히 하늘로부터 급하고 강한 바람 같은 소리가 있어 그들이 앉은 온 집에 가득하며, 마치 불의 혀처럼 갈라지는 것들이 그들에게 보여 각 사람 위에 하나씩 임하여 있더니, 그들이 다 성령의 충만함을 받고 성령이 말하게 하심을 따라 다른 언어들로 말하기를 시작하니라(행2:1-4)” 증거하듯, 그리스도의 재림은 초대교회부터 현재와 미래까지 올바른 믿음의 사람들에게 영원히 이어집니다.

However, the come again Christ will only be for those who have true faith in him from the early church to the eternal future, and the judgement will be received by all men after his death, as “Some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom (Matthew16:28) – Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days, you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit (Acts1:4-5) – When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them (Acts2:1-4)”

그래서 “주 하나님이 이르시되 나는 알파와 오메가라 이제도 있고 전에도 있었고 장차 올 자요 전능한 자라(1:8)” 하셨지만, 말씀과 영으로 가르쳐도 올바로 깨닫지 못하고 세상과 육신의 유혹에 속아 그릇된 믿음에 빠지고 구원의 은혜에서 탈락하는 사람이 너무 많으므로, “나 요한은 너희 형제요 예수의 환난과 나라와 참음에 동참하는 자라 하나님의 말씀과 예수를 증언하였음으로 말미암아 밧모라 하는 섬에 있었더니, 주의 날에 내가 성령에 감동되어 내 뒤에서 나는 나팔 소리 같은 큰 음성을 들으니, 이르되 네가 보는 것을 두루마리에 써서 에베소, 서머나, 버가모, 두아디라, 사데, 빌라델비아, 라오디게아 등 일곱 교회에 보내라 하시기로, 몸을 돌이켜 나에게 말한 음성을 알아보려고 돌이킬 때에 일곱 금 촛대를 보았는데, 촛대 사이에 인자 같은 이가 발에 끌리는 옷을 입고 가슴에 금띠를 띠고, 그의 머리와 털의 희기가 흰 양털 같고 눈 같으며 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고, 그의 발은 풀무불에 단련한 빛난 주석 같고 그의 음성은 많은 물 소리와 같으며, 그의 오른손에 일곱 별이 있고 그의 입에서 좌우에 날선 검이 나오고 그 얼굴은 해가 힘있게 비치는 것 같더라(1:9-16)” 하셨듯, 그리스도 심판의 법칙을 보여주며 기록하여 전하게 하셨습니다.

That is why, the Scripture says to us, as “I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, ‘Who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty (1:8)” However, there are too many people who do not understand correctly even when taught with the Word and the Holy Spirit, and who are deceived by the temptations of the world and the flesh, fall into false beliefs, and fall away from the grace of salvation. Therefore, God showed that the law of Christ’s judgement and had it written down and preached, as “I, John, your brother and compassion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance (1:9-16)”

그런데, “내가 볼 때에 그의 발 앞에 엎드러져 죽은 자 같이 되매 그가 오른손을 내게 얹고 이르시되 두려워하지 말라 나는 처음이요 마지막이니, 곧 살아 있는 자라 내가 전에 죽었었노라 볼지어다 이제 세세토록 살아 있어 사망과 음부의 열쇠를 가졌노니, 그러므로 네가 본 것과 지금 있는 일과 장차 될 일을 기록하라. 네가 본 것은 내 오른손의 일곱 별의 비밀과 또 일곱 금 촛대라 일곱 별은 일곱 교회의 사자요 일곱 촛대는 일곱 교회니라(1:17-20)” 하셨듯, 그리스도께서 성령으로 임하여 가르쳐야 죽었던 영혼이 깨어나 복음의 진리를 따르는 올바른 믿음이 되지만, 사람에게 주신 자유의지와 세상과 육신의 유혹으로 진리에서 벗어나 그릇된 믿음에 빠지는 사람이 많기 때문에, 누구든지 육신의 삶을 마치는 순간에 그리스도의 심판대에서 믿음을 시험 받고 인정 받아야 대속과 구원을 얻어 영생의 천국에 들어가게 되고, 순종하던 믿음을 잃어버리거나 변질되어 인정받지 못하면 지옥의 형벌로 떨어집니다.

However, although Christ comes with the Holy Spirit to teach and awaken sleeping souls and make them have right faith that follows the truth of the gospel, since God gave people free will, He does not teach or work forcefully, so many people fall into wrong faith following the temptations of the world and the flesh, so anyone who has faith recognized at the judgement seat after the death of the flesh will be saved and enter heaven, and those who have lost or distorted their faith to obey will be punished in the hell, as “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever. And I hold the keys of death will take place later. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches (1:17-20)”

그렇기 때문에, “나더러 주여 주여 하는 자마다 다 천국에 들어갈 것이 아니요 다만 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻대로 행하는 자라야 들어가리라. 그 날에 많은 사람이 나더러 이르되 주여 주여 우리가 주의 이름으로 선지자 노릇 하며 주의 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아 내며 주의 이름으로 많은 권능을 행하지 아니하였나이까 하리니, 그 때에 내가 그들에게 밝히 말하되 내가 너희를 도무지 알지 못하니 불법을 행하는 자들아 내게서 떠나가라 하리라(마7:21-23)” 하셨으므로, 거짓된 사람의 교훈에 속아 그릇된 믿음에 빠지지 말고 말씀을 사랑하며 성령의 가르침에 따라 믿고 의지하며 맡기고 죽기까지 순종하여 구원과 영생 얻어야 됩니다. 여러분 모두 그처럼 올바른 믿음으로 구원 얻기를 예수 그리스도 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

So, the Lord Jesus warned it, as “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, You evildoers (Matthew1:21-23)” Therefore, do not be deceived by biased words or human teachings and fall into false beliefs. Instead, love the Word, engrave it in your heart, meditation on it, ask, seek, and knock on the truth of the gospel hidden in the Word, correctly receive the teachings of the Holy Spirit, correctly believe, trust, and entrusted yourselves to God, and obey Him without change until death and obtain salvation. I hopefully pray and plead for you to my God, you shall be like as good and worthy faith in Christ Jesus all. Amen.
