"2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full."(1John 1:2-4)
The Lord said that I say what I have seen from my father, and you do what you hear from your father.(John 8:38) Only those who have seen are qualified as legal witnesses. It can't take what I've heard. The life is manifested means to appear in a hidden state. It is part of God's revelation that Jesus came to the earth and appeared. Three days after His death, both Christ and God Himself are revesled through the Spirit of truth. He says that this is what has been manifested. It is the manifestation that Christ's presence in the midst of those who died in Adam as resurrection and life. The Lord Jesus Christ, who is now in me and in you, appears in us as life. This is the work of the first resurrection.
John 5:24 says," Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
When were they moved? We are moved by the Lord's death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead three days later. And as we receive him as our Savior, he is in us. Therefore, we all participated in the first resurrection, where we live again with the Lord, who is the firstfruits and who was first born.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is like a sign of Jonah.(Matthew 16:4) The fact that Jonah came out of the belly of the fish on the third day served as a model for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. "We have seen this eternal life," and "we declare this eternal life to you." It means to tell that eternal life has already come into the world." Therefore, please do not tell people to believe well in Jesus, but to tell people that Christ, who is eternal life, has come into us now.
If people receive this word, they have life, but if they don't, they have death. And the life was with the Father and was manifested to us. This is the Lord Jesus Christ, who came to us as a thief in the dark world. As Revelation 3:20, the Lord comes and knocks, "I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to you, and will sup with him, and he with me." The bible says we eat, by the way what do we eat? To eat is life. The flesh of Christ is meat indeed and his blood is drink indeed. The Lord always gives us life. Now in us. Hallelujah!
The phrase "that which we have seen and heard" means that we have met the word of life. "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you" They are truly ones who preach the gospel. After meeting the Lord, we must preach the gospel. The purpose of preaching the gospel is to have fellowship with the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. Without meeting Christ, you cannot mediate a fellowship with God. You only talk about the bible and the truth.
Fellowship is to be mingled with one another by the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our Christ. This is the heart of the gospel of John and his epistles. A person of the Holy Spirit knows well that it is necessary to be born again through the work of the Holy Spirit. We know that it is through him that we have life. Therefore, the person of the Spirit understands that we are to be mingled in one Spirit. To be mingle into one spirit in Christ is true fellowship. The characteristic of life is to stretch out, and the characteristic of death is to become weaker and weaker. Those who have life are getting more and more prosperous. Because it stretches out. The life is a blessing. Blessed people use less brain over time. A person who has received blessings will have a broader heart as time goes by, and will become richer and more prosperous.
However, even if they go to church, those who have not received the grace of the Holy Spirit of life are gradually disappearing, they continue to use their brains a lot. If your faith causes you to moan while sleeping, sigh occasionally, or do not sleep well at night, repent and return to the Lord right away. It's proof that you're using your brain a lot right now. It is the way of death. As life grows within me, my heart softens and I use less of my brain instead. The blessed has a wider and fuller chest but doesn't use a lot of brain. However, those who are not blessed use a lot of brain. They follow the way of the wicked outside of Christ.(Psalm 1:1)
Then "These things write we unto you, that your joy may be full."
The characteristic of a person with life is koinonoa. It is fellowship. Life attracts people like a nail to a magnet. Life attracts people, but death repels people. Everyone, take a look at nature. If we look at nature, we know that nature is calling and pulling us. Flowers, grass, foliage, or nature draws me in. It seems the mountains are hugging me. However, no matter how luxurious and dazzling the bed is, it seems to push me away if I don't decorate it comfortably. It's dull to look at. For that which has no life is dead. Those who received the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost attracted people because of the life they had in the Lord.
However, the church is a completely different from trying to form a kinship, such as blood ties or academic ties, or becoming a side by some calculation of interest, that is, forming an interest group. When people are originally sinners, they never become one without a common purpose. However, those who have life have a fellowship with each other by the life they have. Life itself is a pulling force. That is why it becomes a fellowship of saints. As a result each other's joy is full.
In the fellowship of the Holy Spirit through the love of God and the grace of Jesus Christ, if we have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Word of life, we have fellowship with God first, and then with other people, and we are filled with joy. Fellowship is a blessing for those who have life, and that fellowship gives us joy. That is why we say that the book of Philippians, which is about the fellowship of saints, is a letter of joy. Those who have seen and heard the Word of life and have the life of Christ have fellowship with God and fellowship with one another. And the joy of the Lord permeates into us, so that our joy is full.
I pray that you will be filled with the joy.
