Bible Reading - Proverbs 22:20~29

22:20 Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge,
22:21 teaching you true and reliable words, so that you can give sound answers to him who sent you?

내가 너희에게 서른 가지 말씀을 기록하지 아니하였느냐? 그것은 충고와 지식의 말씀으로, 참되고 믿을 만한 말씀을 너희에게 가르치는 것이요, 너희를 보낸 자에게 바른 대답을 할 수 있게 하려는 것이 아니냐?

22:22 Do not exploit(착취하다) the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court,

가난한 자를 가난하다고 착취하지 말고, 궁핍한 자를 법정에서 압제하지 말라.

22:23 for the LORD will take up(차지하다,담당하다) their case and will plunder(약탈하다) those who plunder them.

여호와께서 그들의 송사를 담당하시고 그들을 약탈하는 자들을 약탈하실 것이다.

22:24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered(성격이 급한) man, 성격이 급한 사람과는 친구가 되지말며

do not associate with one easily angered, 쉽게 화를 내는 사람과 어울리지 말라.

22:25 or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.(덫에 빠지다)

그렇지 않으면 너는 그의 길을 배우고 그 덫에 빠질 수도 있다.

22:26 Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge 맹세하는 사람이 되거나

or puts up security for debts; 또는 부채에 대한 보증을 제공하지 말라.

22:27 if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.

당신이 지불할 돈(수단)이 부족하다면, 당신의 침대마저 빼앗길 것입니다.

22:28 Do not move an ancient boundary stone(경계석) set up(세워진) by your forefathers.

당신의 조상이 세운 옛 경계석을 옮기지 마라.

22:29 Do you see a man skilled in his work? 자신의 일에 능숙한 사람을 보는가?

He will serve before kings; 그는 왕 앞에서 섬길 것이며

he will not serve before obscure(눈에 띄지 않는) men.

그는 낮은 지위에 있는 사람 앞에서는 봉사하지 않을 것이다.
