Dr. Hedgehog and the Flying Rescue
Today's story is called "Dr. Hedgehog and the Flying Rescue". Let's start!
On a windy day, Martin Mouse kicked a table-tennis ball along the road as he walked home from school. Far away, the old oak tree behind the post office grabbed his attention, and it looked different than usual somehow. At the sight of a yellow kite caught in the tree, Martin Mouse climbed up the tree to have a good look at it. Martin Mouse went up higher and higher although he remembered his mother's warning not to climb trees. Martin Mouse managed to obtain the kite, but soon he felt ill being so far from the ground. Martin Mouse was too frightened to move until he noticed Dr. Hedgehog driving by. Unfortunately, Dr. Hedgehog couldn't climb trees, so he had to find someone to help Martin Mouse instead. Susan Sparrow came to help Martin Mouse, but she was not big or strong enough to rescue him. At Susan Sparrow's request, Pauline Pigeon gladly offered to carry Martin Mouse safely down to the ground. Dr. Hedgehog told Mavis Mouse that Martin Mouse was being rescued, and she was glad to have her son back safely.
I'd be really scared if I was isolated on a tree.😱
