러브드라이브(Lovedrive)는 1979년 발매된 독일 록 밴드 스콜피언스(Scorpions)의 여섯 번째 정규 앨범입니다. 일부 비평가들은 이 앨범을 스콜피언스 커리어의 정점으로 평가했습니다. 러브드라이브는 밴드 사운드의 주요 진화를 이루었으며, 이후 몇 장의 앨범을 통해 발전될 "클래식한 스타일"을 보여주었습니다. 러브드라이브는 하드 록과 멜로딕 발라드를 결합한 "스콜피언스 공식"을 확립했습니다.

Lovedrive is the sixth studio album by the German rock band Scorpions, released in 1979. Considered by some critics to be the pinnacle of their career, Lovedrive was a major evolution of the band's sound, exhibiting their "classic style" that would be later developed over their next few albums. Lovedrive cemented the "Scorpions formula" of hard rock songs combined with melodic ballads.
Lovedrive was the band’s first album to be released by Harvest Records in Europe and Mercury Records in the United States and Canada following the band's departure from RCA. It proved to be a major commercial breakthrough, reaching No. 55 on the Billboard Top 200, which none of their previous five albums had dented at all. The RIAA certified the record as Gold on 28 May 1986, and the album also proved a breakthrough in the United Kingdom where it was the first Scorpions album to chart and peaked at No. 36.
Lovedrive ranked No. 25 on IGN's 2007 list of the Top 25 metal albums.

이 앨범은 리드 기타리스트 마티아스 잽스가 참여한 첫 번째 앨범이자, 밴드의 "클래식" 라인업을 담은 첫 번째 음반이기도 합니다. 잽스는 울리 존 로스를 대신했고, 로스는 이후 자신의 밴드인 일렉트릭 선(Electric Sun)을 결성했습니다.

리듬 기타리스트 루돌프의 동생인 마이클 쉔커는 UFO에서 막 탈퇴한 상태였습니다. 그는 "Another Piece of Meat", "Coast to Coast", "Holiday", "Loving You Sunday Morning", "Lovedrive"에서 리드 기타를 녹음했습니다. 1979년 2월 스콜피언스의 독일 투어가 시작되자 마이클은 밴드에 다시 합류했고, 그룹은 마지못해 마티아스 잽스와 결별했습니다. 그러나 1979년 4월, 밴드가 프랑스 투어를 진행하던 중 마이클이 탈퇴했고, 잽스는 격렬한 협상 끝에 즉시 복귀했습니다.
