A: Hey, what do you think about starting a volleyball tournament for the college festival?
B: That sounds fun! We could have teams from different departments compete.
A: Exactly, it could be a great way to bring everyone together. How could we organize it?
B: We'll need to set up a schedule and get permission to use the volleyball court. Plus, find someone to referee the games.
A: I was thinking we could have a book fair during the festival. Invite local authors and bookstores.
B: That's brilliant! We could also invite people from the community outside of campus.
A: Yes, and who doesn't love books?
B: We should reach out to some authors soon then.
A: And maybe set up a small stage for readings.
A: For the concert, should we try to get a famous pop star? Maybe a girl band or a solo ballad singer?
B: Tough choice. A girl band could attract a lot of fans, but a solo singer might bring in a more diverse audience.
A: True. Maybe we should consider who'd be more likely to accept our invitation too.
B: Let's also think about our budget. Big names mean big bucks.
A: We should sell some quick meals as well as snacks.
B: Absolutely. And we could offer a variety of options.
A: We need to ensure there's something for everyone.
B: Last year we had bindaetteok, and they sold like hotcakes.
A: I remember. It was so popular that you had to keep flipping bindaetteok nonstop all day long.
A: Did you hear it might rain on Friday?
B: Mmm, I doubt it.
A: But what if it rains during the festival? We need a backup plan.
B: Well, we could move some events indoors. Maybe the gym or the auditorium.
A: Good idea. And we should have some rainproof cover for the food stands and book displays.
B: Maybe we can rent some tents or marquees. Just in case.
A: I wanted to talk to you./ B: About what?/ A: About last week's argument.../ B: Cut to the chase, please.
A: Can I skip measuring the ingredients?/ B: No. Don't cut corners./ A: OK./ B: Every step is important.
A: Guys, cut it out!/ B: But Angela.../ A: No more buts!/ B: Fine.
A: So, my point is.../ B: It's important we finish this./ A: Stop cutting me off!/ B: Oh, sorry.
A: You didn't reply!/ B: Oh dear! I'll do it right away!/ A: This is your second time./ B: Cut me some slack!
