비 온 뒤

남풍이 불면
비가 오고

비가 오면
또록또록 튀던 먼지는
젖어
도랑으로 흘러간다

미세한 먼지를 머금었던
빗방울은 맑아지고
굵어진 빗줄기는
길 위에 물길을 내어
졸졸 흐른다

검은 구름이 옅어지면
빗줄기도 따라 흐려지다
언제였냐는 듯 멎고

조각 구름 사이로
붉은 햇살이 스며들어
언덕 너머로 기울어 간다

비는
잠시 불편을 남기지만

지나간 자리에는
맑은 공기와
가벼운 바람과
깨끗한 길이 남는다

비 온 뒤에는
조금 다른 세상이 있다

🌿 After the Rain

When the south wind comes,
rain follows.

And when it falls,
dust that once danced in little drops
settles,
and runs off into the ditches.

Raindrops, once holding
the finest dust,
turn clear.
As the rain grows heavier,
thin streams form along the road,
murmuring as they go.

When the dark clouds begin to fade,
the rain softens with them,
and stops—
as if nothing had happened.

Between scattered clouds,
a red glow seeps through,
tilting
beyond the hill.

Rain may leave
a moment of inconvenience,

but in its passing
it leaves behind
clear air,
a lighter wind,
and streets washed clean.

After the rain,
there is
a slightly different world.
