또 다른 사람에게 나를 좇으라 하시니 그가 가로되 나로 먼저 가서 내 부친을 장사하게 허락하옵소서 가라사대 죽은 자들로 자기의 죽은 자들을 장사하게 하고 너는 가서 하나님의 나라를 전파하라 하시고 또 다른 사람이 가로되 주여 내가 주를 좇겠나이다 마는 나로 먼저 내 가족을 작별케 허락하소서 예수께서 이르시되 손에 쟁기를 잡고 뒤를 돌아보는 자는 하나님의 나라에 합당치 아니하니라 하시니라

Luke 9:59-62

He said to another man, "Follow me." But the man replied, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father."Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God." Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family." Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."

예수님을 따르는 자가 그의 부친이 죽었다는 소식을 들었다. 그가 예수님께 와서 말씀하기를 “예수님, 제가 죽은 부모를 장사하고 다시 오겠습니다” 그 때 예수님께서 그에게 말씀하셨다 “죽은 자들로 그들의 죽은 자를 장사하게 하고 너는 계속 복음을 전파하라.” 이 말씀의 뜻은 죽은 자를 장사하는 것보다 더 시급하고 중요한 것이 아직 세상에 살아있는 자들에게 우리가 복음을 전파하는 것이라고 말씀하신 것입니다.

인간의 육체가 죽는 순간에 그의 영혼은 천국 혹은 지옥으로 간것이다, 그의 영원한 운명이 결정 되었다. 지옥으로 간 자는 구원받을 기회를 영원히 잃은 것이고, 천국으로 간 자는 영원한 구원을 받은 거이다,그래서 죽은 자를 위해 할 수 있는 것은 세상에서 아무것도 없다, 죽은 자를 위해 무엇을 하면 그것이 곧 우상숭배 되는 것이다. 하나님의 백성이 이 땅에서 할 수 있는 가장 중요한 일은 아직 세상에 살아있는 자들에게 복음을 전파하여 그들이 모두 예수를 믿고 회개하고 천국에 가는 것입니다.

죽은 자를 위해 장례식을 거행하는 것은 우상숭배하는 것이다. 부모가 살았을 때 공경하라, 부모가 죽으면 더 이상 공경할 수 없다, 죽은 부모를 위해 장례예배 추도예배를 드리는 것은 부모를 위한 것도 아니고, 하나님께 예배드리는 것도 아니고, 사탄을 경배하여 사탄에게 영광 돌리는 것이다. 이런 자들은 우상을 숭배한 대가로 엄청난 저주를 받는 것이다. 죽은 자들에게 죽은 자의 장사를 맡기라는 주님의 말씀이 무슨 뜻인지 우리는 깨달아야 한다.

예수를 믿지 않는 자들은 몸이 건강할지라도 그들의 영혼은 죽어있는 것이다, 이들은 사탄에게 속한 것이다. 사탄에게 속한 자들은 세상의 풍습과 그들의 생각을 따라 죽은 자를 위해 화려하게 장례식을 치룬다. 그러나 진정한 하나님의 백성은 살아있는 부모를 공경하고 부모가 죽었을 때 부모의 시체를 조용하게 땅에 묻는다, 죽은 자를 숭배하지 않고 자연으로 조용히 돌리는 것이다, 흙으로 만들어진 인간의 몸은 결국 흙으로 돌아가는 것이기 때문이다.

영혼이 나간 인간의 몸은 잠시동안 더 사람의 형체를 가진다,ㄱ러나 그 본질은 이미 흙으로 돌아간 것이다. 흙으로 돌아간 부모의 시체를 섬기는 것은 흙을 섬기는 것이므로 그런 행위가 우상숭배하는 것이다. 한 번 세상을 떠난 부모는 그의 영혼이 영원한 천국 혹은 영원한 지옥에 간 것이다, 그래서 그 영은 결코 세상에 다시 돌아올 수 없는 것이다. 그 자손들이 제사상을 차려놓고 아무리 추도예배를 드릴지라도 그 자리에 그 부모의 영이 결코 돌아올 수 없는 것이다.

A follower of Jesus heard that his father had died. He came to Jesus and said, “Jesus, I will bury my dead parents and come back again.”Then Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their dead, and you continue to preach the gospel.”The meaning of this word is that more urgent and important than burying the dead is to preach the gospel to those who are still alive in the world.

The moment a human body dies, his soul goes to heaven or hell, and his eternal destiny is determined. Those who go to hell have lost the opportunity to be saved forever, and those who go to heaven have received eternal salvation. Therefore, there is nothing in the world that can be done for the dead. Doing anything for the dead is idolatry.

The most important thing that God’s people can do on this earth is to preach the gospel to those who are still alive in the world, so that they all believe in Jesus, repent, and go to heaven. Holding a funeral for the dead is idolatry. Respect your parents while they are alive, and you can no longer respect them when they are dead. Holding a funeral service or memorial service for dead parents is not for the parents, nor is it worshipping God,

but is worshiping Satan and giving glory to Satan. Such people will receive a great curse in return for worshiping idols. We must understand what the Lord means when He tells us to leave the burial of the dead to the dead. Those who do not believe in Jesus may be healthy in body, but their souls are dead. They belong to Satan. Those who belong to Satan hold extravagant funerals for the dead according to the customs of the world and their thoughts.

However, the true people of God respect their living parents and quietly bury their parents' bodies in the ground when their parents die. They do not worship the dead but quietly return them to nature, because the human body made of dust will eventually return to dust.

The human body whose soul has left retains its human form for a while, but its essence has already returned to dust.

Serving the bodies of parents who have returned to dust is serving dust, so such an act is idolatry. Once a parent has passed away, his soul has gone to eternal heaven or eternal hell, so his spirit can never return to the world.No matter how much the descendants prepare the ancestral table and hold a memorial service, the spirit of the parent can never return to that place.
